it will be following the events of stanley uris's attempted suicide (which in this story wont suceed) and the aftermath for his husband and him. it will flip timelines every chapter, so it will go from 1985 (current) to times in the 50's (past/when the losers where still friends)
as it says in the description, if suicide topics trigger you please do not read this since that is the main theme.
