The sunlight filtered through the huge glass windows into the shared chambers of the King and Queen. The sunlight waking Yuthika from her slumber after the tiring day. Unfortunately it was morning already, and there was lots of royal work to be done.

"Good morning Maharani" a deep voice greeted Yuthika as she woke from her sleep.

"A very good morning to you too Maharaja" she replied with a sleepy smile.

Without even needing to look, the Queen knew exactly whose voice that was. Especially with it being from her most favorite person. Though the Maharaja was still the same person who slaughtered countless enemies. He would greet the queen with a smiling face every morning.

Of course the Queen being the queen she was, loved that about him. Well that with many other attributes of the warrior.

After a nice morning chat, Mahaveer bid his wife goodbye with a kiss on the cheek. He had a morning wrestling session with the Senapati, the General Vishwanath. As the King left the room, the maids filed in, helping Yuthika get ready for the day.

Today was Maaya's Swayamvar. That was where a group of suitors would come to visit and the princess would choose from them on who she wanted to marry. Maaya being the princess of the Maratha Kingdom was a big deal. With suitors fighting to get her hand in marriage.

Making an alliance with the Marathas would be great help to any kingdom with undying support from the most powerful kingdom. And of course everyone knew that fact. Maaya had been getting marriage proposals from the age of 6. Mahavir being the great older brother, declined them all wanting to wait until his sister was older.

Yuvraj, Yuthika's older brother was also coming to meet his beloved little sister on this fine day. On the same day as Maaya's Swayamvar.. Was it just a coincidence that Yuvraj had missed his little sister and wanted to meet her? Or was there an underlying reason behind that visit? Oh of course, Maaya was his sister in law, being Yuthika's husband's sister. But then there wasn't any problem if those two got married…

The Queen smiled, shaking her head at the theories she was coming up with. Still, Yuthika knew that Maaya had a little crush on Yuvraj and probably would want him as her husband. But only fate knew what was going to happen. And no one knew what that fate had written for you in the pages of destiny. The sunlight filtered through the huge glass windows into the shared chambers of the King and Queen.
