"Bami.." a soft fragile voice was heard beside me.

"Yes?"

"I-I don't want to b-be a handsome nerd anymore, can I just stay like this?" he dropped his head, scared that he would make me disappoint.

"Of course you can! It's okay you don't have to handsome nerd, you can be my nerd instead."

"Really? Then I want to be your nerd, it doesn't hurt and I'm not shaking when I became your nerd!" he said referring to his anxiety when he became the handsome nerd.

I patted his head softly, he smiled as he put his head on my shoulder. Unlike before, he flinched whenever I raised my hand to pat his hair, misunderstood thinking I was going to hit him. That's when I realized how hard he has gone through and how much it's affected him to act like this.
