“Deku Deku!” Eri chanted happily as she rushed into the shop

“Eri not so loud.” Kouta scolded while following her

“She's not being that loud.” Mahoro retorted earning a glare from the corner of the boy's eyes

“Pardon the intrusion.” Katsuma said being the only respectful on as he carefully closed the door

“Guys don't fight.” Midoriya chuckled lightly at their banter

“Deku!” They all said

“Hey guys.” Midoriya smiled and opened his arms as they all rushed towards him

He hugged them all and they hugged back. He noted how tall each of them were getting. While he's gone he’s sure they'll get much taller and bigger. It's sort of sad he'll miss it. Maybe he can visit if it's not an issue.

“Hello All Might!” The kids greeted the older man at the desk after pulling away from Midoriya

“Nice to see you again kids.” All Might grinned with a wave at them

“I'm guessing you want a story.” Midoriya said as they looked back at him

“Yes!” Eri and Mahoro nodded enthusiastically

“Please.” Katsuma said shyly while looking down at his hands

“Don't care.” Kouta crossed his arms but Midoriya knew better

They all liked being read too or with. It helped them learn and grow their knowledge of the world. Midoriya hoped it would inspire them to one day leave this small town and explore. He wanted them to start their own adventures making new discoveries.

Midoriya smiled.
“Alright let me put my stuff down. Go get comfortable.” He gestured Towards the reading area on the other side of the shop

Midoriya was actually the one to decide to add a place like that for the kids in town who wanted a place to read or just to stay for a little while. The kids nodded and rushed off to the reading area where they sat together and waited for Midoriya. He looked at All Might after setting his stuff behind the counter.

“After I finish their story I'm going to leave town. I need to head to the Kagayaku kingdom for some nice clothes for the ball. When I come back I'll be Izumi until Kacchan has his coronation or maybe a little after that. I'm not sure.” He told the older man

All Might nodded understandingly.
“Don't worry about it. I'm sure it'll pass quicker than you think.”

“You're a really good friend for helping him out like this. Not many people would, my boy.” He added

Midoriya rubbed the back of his head with a weak smile.
“I just hope I don't fail him.” He replied

“You won't.” All Might said and meant it

Midoriya then went to the kids and sat in the chair they were surrounding after he nodded at All Might. The older blonde always believed in him and that was really a confidence booster. He can do this. The kids picked a cute story and he read it too them. He'll really miss doing this every week. Maybe he can read to some children in the Bakuhatsu kingdom. It's been a long time since he's been there. It'll be nice to see it again. Though things will be different. He'll be Bakugou's pretend wife. He'd be lying to the children and he can't do that to them like that. Midoriya said goodbye to Katsuma, Kouta, Mahoro, and Eri.

They told him good luck on his travels and with helping Bakugou. Of course Midoriya didn't give details to them. He just said the blonde needed his help so he'll be gone for a while. They had seen Izumi but hadn't really asked about her so Midoriya wondered if they realized he was her or maybe they just didn't care that much. He sighed as he left the bookshop and headed towards the edge of town. The trek to the Kagayaku kingdom will take days. He's glad he sent off a bird before he left to let Bakugou know where he was going in case the blonde came looking for him. He doesn't want the Prince to think he ran off and abandoned the plan.

Bakugou was sitting at his desk in his room reading through a bunch of stupid documents when he heard the familiar tweet of a bird near his window. He looked over and it was early a messenger bird so he got up and went towards it to collect the letter. It was a small scroll, big enough to write what was needed on but not too big that it would weigh the bird down. When he unrolled it he immediately knew it was from Midoriya since it addressed him as Kacchan. Stupid Bookworm the Prince thought. As he read through the messy words that were written in common speak he shooed the bird so it would go home.

The blonde frowned after finishing the letter. Though he understood Midoriya's plan he wanted to go help him but with things so unstable for them right now he can't just go wherever he wants. It'll look suspicious plus they'll be worried he might meet someone before the dumb ball. He dreaded that thing but it had to be done so everything looked like it was being done within the rules. As Katsuki sat on his bed he decided he needed a break so after grabbing a few things for his trip he left his chambers and headed towards the dragon keep. On the way there he unfortunately ran into his mother in the corridor

“Gaun somewhere mo mhac?” Mitsuki asked as she crossed her arms

“Yeah.” Katsuki replied

Mitsuki smirked.
“Tae see yer Sassenach?” She said with an implication that her son didn't understand

Katsuki rolled his eyes as he adjusted the sack over his shoulder.
“Deku's goin’ to tha Kagayaku kingdom. Just gonna help ‘im prepare fer tha ball.” He replied short

“Mm, well be careful.” Mitsuki shrugged nonchalantly

Katsuki narrowed his eyes at her.
“Thanks.” He replied as she started to walk passed him

“An’ keep yer tadger tae yerself. Yer suppose tae take a bhean soon. Winnae be a good look tae see ye hoorin’ around.” She told him as she walked away

Katsuki dropped his head back, annoyed.
“Tch- fine.” He agreed because unfortunately she was right

His days of sleeping around are over not that he really did that. It was mostly just making out with unimportant people Then going on his way to jerk off by himself. It was just a little pleasure to get him going. He's actually not really fond of the idea but he lets people assume he beds anyone he wants because it helps with his bad boy image and keeps others away. Bakugou doesn't have time for most people, especially not right now. So he'll keep to himself for once and just help Midoriya prepare for this so it can be over and done with. Prince Bakugou definitely owed the smaller big time but he's not sure how to repay him because he knows Midoriya will never ask for anything.
