The brothers of the abyss are titled such because there's 4 of them you'll have to defeat. And their name is a metaphor btw, they're not actually brothers.
So basically, they don't do much. They only fire a blood shot coloured laser from its hammer, and swung it around a bit. But the gimmick with them is if you don't kill them in time, then they'll basically tag out for one of the others. If you do kill them however, it'll turn into this small Null hole that you'll need to banish... and if you don't, then it'll respawn. And uh... yes. They'll have an endless army that they'll throw at you all the damn time. (Wonder who's gonna get this reference)
Not much I know... but uh, if you got an idea of an ability it can do let me know, don't be shy.
