I woke up and saw Vox fully dressed smiling over me.
"Good morning gorgeous," he said.
"Uhh good morning," I said sounding tired and confused. "Would you like me to leave now?"
"Oh no, it's only five in the morning," he said.
"Why are you dressed then?" I asked.
"Because I need to get up to prepare the filming of the morning news," he said. "And I need my new assistant to come with me."
"Who's that," I said worrying it was me.
"It's you," he said.
"But I don't know anything about being your assistant," I said hoping he would change his mind.
He walked away to his closet. I sat up and covered myself with the sheet trying to see what he was getting. He pulled out a blue and black dress. It had a heart cute out where it would show cleavage. The top with heart was blue and the bottom was pleaded blue and black checker d pattern. I just stared at it.
"Your new outfit," he said as he walked it over to me. "Velevette made it especially for you."
"Oh," I said not knowing if I ever wore designer clothes before.
"One of kind," he said as he dangled it in front of my face.
"What will Val think of this?" I asked.
"That is my problem to worry about," He said. "Your problem is to follow me and make sure things run smoothly."
I just stared blankly at the dress.
"What if I am terrible at it," I said panicking about the new situation I was thrown in.
"Then I'll have to punish you," he said with a sexy smile. "Privately of course."
I smiled back.
"Alright," I said as I took the dress and he smiled at me.
"That's my girl," he said as he walked out of the room.

We were at the studio. I followed behind him. The ear piece had so many people talking in it and my anxiety was high. I looked at my clipboard with all the different instructions on it.
"Vanessa, what are we doing first?" Vox asked as we watched Katie Kiljoy and Tom Trench take their places at the desk.
"Make sure the cameraman knows to stay on Katie while she beats Tom," I read.
"Great take care of that," he said as he answered emails on his phone.
"On it sir," I said as I walked to the camera man.
The cameraman looked me up and down. I felt anger as I saw his boner.
"Look," I said in an angry tone. "Mr. Vox wants you to focus on the fights better as that makes ratings better."
"You got it toots," he said.
"Fuck you," I said.
He rolled his eyes. I looked at him with daggers and I watched as his hair caught fire. He screamed and put it out. How the fuck did I do that? I walked back to Vox and he smiled at me.
"You set him on fire," he said with a smile.
"No I didn't," I said.
"You glared at him and his hair was on set fire," he said.
"How could I?" I said.
"I gave you a little power as you are my assistant," Vox explained. "Stuff needs to be done and sometimes you are too complicit. You glare at people when you are angry. So I made it where tiny electric fires will start on them. It will be easier for you to get tasks done."
"Oh," I said. "That's fun."
"Quite," Vox said. "Now go get me coffee."
"Yes sir," I said as I walked away.
I didn't like to be ordered around but I did enjoy this power and the attention. Not from the creeps around me but being around Vox was feeling rather nice. Plus he probably get rid of me in a week when I was no longer interesting. Then I could go back to the basement.
I poured the coffee into a cup and brought it to Vox. He took it from me. I watched as he took a drink from it. I read my clipboard and saw I needed to go check on the broadcast system. I went to walk away.
"And where do you think you are going?" He asked.
"It says check broadcasting system," I said.
"Oh, you are doing your job?" He said sounding rather disappointed.
"That's why I'm here right," I said.
"You are here because it was hard to watch your every step," he said. "I need to see you and what you are doing."
"How was it hard to watch me?" I asked in a hushed tone so no one knew I was talking back. "I sit at a desk all day."
"Yes well the camera angle only gets the back of your head," he said. "And I could install a new camera or make you my personal assistant."
"Interesting thought process," I said.
"Go do your job but stay in my sight," he instructed.
"Got it sir," I said as I walked over to the system confused on what was exactly happening.
