This village is really awkward. I don't know which tribesman to challenge and which one to avoid. After beating good old Asterix here, I went to a tent in which their druid was making some whack ass potion. After beating his Chansey, he gave me some of that and I simply blitzed through the rest of them, feeling invincible.

It does, and Gallic Kricketot, a Bug/Fighting type Pokemon with Technician as an ability goes ridiculously hard. Also, it's a good looking variant.

But eventually, we are noticed due to our lack of moves and are promptly challenged by Astrabolix, leader of this Gallic tribe. His illegal level 9 Beedrill is strong enough to put a significant dent into Vulpix, forcing us to switch when facing his ace Gallic Kricketot (also illegal mind you), Warcrimes, with some Yawn support from Cannibalism managed to lay a beating on this quite chunky monster (it might have Thick Fat as a second ability judging by how little Ember did to it) and the final Larvesta barely put up a fight against our starter.
