As Aizawa and I sat in the backseats of the car, Aizawa maintained a reassuring grip on my hand, offering silent comfort in the midst of the whirlwind we had just faced.

His thumb traced gentle circles on my hand, a subtle gesture that spoke volumes. I couldn't help but appreciate the comforting touch, feeling the tension slowly dissipate.

Just like the time he caressed my cheek when my head was throbbing in pain in the teachers office.

I couldn't help but notice the stark contrast between my smaller, softer hand and Aizawa's larger, more calloused one.

The size difference was a tangible reminder of the strength and protection he provided, and in that moment, providing solace in the silent support we come to share in these past few months.

The car pulled up to the destination where Ezio lay battered and bruised, and I couldn't shake the urgency to get to him.

As Aizawa released my hand, I hurriedly exited the car, spotting Detective Tsukauchi, who was there to escort me to Ezio. Aizawa followed closely behind, the weight of the situation palpable in the air.

Upon reaching Ezio, my heart sank at the sight of him, bloodied and exhausted on the cold concrete floor.

All Might and Principal Nezu were by his side, their expressions solemn.

"Ezio!" I called out, rushing to his side.

I gently cradled his head in my arms, desperate to do something, anything. Ezio mustered a weak smile as he uttered my name.

"Y/n... Took you long enough." He said jokingly.

Tears began to well up in my eyes.

I said "This isn't a time to be joking around, Ezio. My quirk can heal you, Everlasting!"

But my quirk proved futile as I saw that the feathers didn't appear around him. I made a confused and frustrated expression as I repeated my quirk name over and over again.

"Y/n, Stop. It's useless... I know that I haven't told you this before, but these are not physical wounds... they're consequences of my quirk, Time Foresight, it drains my life energy the more and more I use it, so your quirk... will not work on me."

Hearing this, tears streamed down my face.

Ezio said "Now, now Y/n. You know how much I hate to see you cry."

He weakly reached up, wiping the tears from my face, his own strength fading.

He continued "All Might showed me the press conference and you did amazing. I'm so... beyond proud of you Y/n... of your growth and maturity."

Choked with emotion, I managed to say, "It's all thanks to you, Ezio. I wouldn't be here or be who I am without you."

Ezio smiled weakly, his voice filled with tenderness. "You know, I always wanted a daughter... I feel like you were the closest thing I had to one... I'm sure this is how a father feels, watching his little girl grow up to be such an amazing woman."

I replied, my voice trembling with emotion, "Right back at you. You were the closest thing I had to a father as well. Thank you for everything, Ezio."

Ezio nodded and turned to Principal Nezu and All Might, a silent acknowledgment passing between them.

"All Might...Principal Nezu.. Thank you for being there for Y/n... for supporting her... and believing in her. I can't say it enough."

Both All Might and Principal Nezu took one of his hands.

All Might said "Thank you for making the ultimate sacrifice. Now, Y/n and everyone who was affected by the Shmura mafia will finally be free and can rest in peace. You truly are a hero, Ezio."
