Sir Leonard led me past the library, and next to it was a quaint little cafe.

"Thank you," I said, as he held open the door for me, a small bell chiming and alerting the lady behind the counter.

"Leonard! Back again?"

"Yes, miss. Is Selina waiting?"

"She's right there to the side," the lady nodded to the right, where another lady, presumably the one Sir Leonard wanted me to meet, was sitting.

Selina took notice of us looking and smiled, gesturing for us to come over.

"Hello! You must be Lady Corvalia!" She gushed, holding my hand in hers.

"Nice to meet you, Miss Selina," I replied.

"Selina here should be able to read the books you found in the library," Sir Leonard said.

"Yes! The books!" Selina's eyes widened. "I heard they have something to do with food?"

I brought out the books from my bad, explaining, "I went to the library hoping to find some recipe books, but the only ones I found were in this language, which I caan't read."

Selina took one and flipping it open, before breaking out into a grin.

"I can read it, and I can definitely translate it for you," she told me.

"Really!? So you'd be willing to help?"

"On one condition," she suddenly turned serious, taking my hands into hers again. "If I help you translate these, I also want to be a taste tester."

"Of course, that's easy!" I exclaimed, thankful that she wasn't expecting too much. "I'll invite you over to my house at some point."

"Alright, nice!" she patted the seat next to her. "Please, sit down. Doyou have a paper to write down the translations?"

"Oh, yeah! I do, let me take it out."

I sat down in the seat as Sir Leonard took the seat across from Selina.

"I hope I don't offend you, Lady Corvalia," Selina started talking, "but the food that I'm having here so far has been…"

Her voice trailed off, but I knew exactly what she was talking about.

"Don't worry Miss Selina. I will make sure you get to have your taste of home," I said seriously, knowing how important food was to Asian cultures. "I'll personally make everything by hand and order all the right ingredients."
