No words were spoken for a few seconds. Sukuna threw an annoyed gaze upon the group, which was still lying on the floor.
- I thought you were waiting to talk to me ! he said, looking at the other curse. You're really quiet now... I don't even know what you're doing here...
Realising she forgot to introduce her motives, the purple-eyed lady seemed embarrassed.
- I'd like to find a way for you and the exorcists to get along... she confessed on a lowered voice.
- Speak louder, don't be shy, I can't even hear what you're saying ! Sukuna protested.
- I want you to make peace with your ennemies, did you hear now ?! she yelled. You spend your time in some silly fights, and now, I bet you're just waiting for an opportunity to kill them ! You're like a bunch of kids, ready to tear the world apart for some silly power ! I can't even seem interesting to you if I don't prove you my strength !
The man chuckled.
- I was bored, I just sought something fun to look at, how could you be mad at me for this ? he said, trying to convince her.
An enthusiastic smile formed itself on the woman's lips as she heard his amused tone.
- I'm not here to be mad at you, you know ? she reminded him. However, I'd like you to open your eyes. The situation here is really delicate, keep in mind that as soon as you get your power back, you'll be killed by exorcists ! Is this really what you seek ?
Annoyed, Sukuna tried to disappear from his vessel's face, but the thought of leaving before getting the upper hand on this talk ripped his dignity apart.
- You're underestimating me... he said in a calmer tone. In a simple sentence, you've managed to put me in a bad mood.
- Don't even act as if it was the first time it happened... she said, a small smile invading her lips.
She chuckled, and looked at the other curse's pouting face.
- You remind me of someone... he said.
Amaya raised an eyebrow.
- Really ? she said, amused. Who ?
Her curious gaze fell upon Sukuna's eye, but it felt as if, whatever he was gonna say, she already knew it all.
- A very annoying lady who kept trying to lecture me... he said in a slightly angry voice.
Amaya's enthusiasm flew away as her eyes lowered. She seemed upset.
- However, she was the only person I could bare, even during the worst days... he completed, smiling at her as her eyes opened wide. I truly liked spending time with her...
An amused gaze was exchanged between the two courses, who instantly began laughing.
- What's happening ? Yuji asked, surprised.
- Seing Sukuna being this kind to someone is kinda weird... Nobara said. However, it's still cute seing him get along with someone.
The curse instantly stared at her, then sighed.
- She asked me to talk to her, and I did... he said in an annoyed tone. Well, I've have enough of you for today...
The man quietly diappeared, hiding a small smile which refused to get away from his lips.
- Are you satisfied with you discussion ? Gojo asked.
- More than anyone could imagine, she said in a sincere voice.
The exorcist semmed satisfied.
- Get up now ! he said. It's time for paperwork... You have to get a uniform to prove you are one of us, so I'd like to talk to you, and find you a room where you will be able to stay and rest...
- Just keep in mind that I'm not one of your students, I'm a grown person who doesn't take ordres from you... she said in a slightly angry voice.
- I'm more than aware of it, but it will be better for others to recognise you as one of us, since you're a curse... he said.
The curse sighed and followed Gojo throughout the corridors, hoping to end this annoying moment quickly.
