I woke up this morning expecting to see Ryder next to me but she wasn't "Hey Tia have you seen Ryder?" I asked standing up "She's outside, doing her thing." smiling at me "She was meant to wake me up." she shook her head "Ryders up at the crack of dawn, old habits die hard." nodding my head 

"Where's Reid?" I asked them "Giving Ryder her coffee like always, he gives it to her before she starts reading." Oli said walking over to the balcony "Is Reid interested in Ryder or not?" looking at the guys "No, their friends agreed on that the second they met." Nate admitted 

"No one interrupts her when she reads we all learnt that on the first day," Tara smiling "Hey, Kale you still going to sit with her or not because she wanted to let you sleep in?" Reid asked as he walked upstairs "Yeah, just let me grab a drink and I'll be down in a second." I watched him whistle three times as she whistled back 

"It's our system in the mornings don't question it," he said as I walked downstairs "Hey, I thought you were meant to wake me?" I asked Ryder as I stole a bean bag placing it next to her "Well, I thought you wanted to sleep in, so I left you." shaking my head "No, I promised you I'd do, so remember to wake me up." she raised her hands in defence 

"Alright, I'm going to read silently is that okay?" nodding my head "Go for it." as we sat in silence I noticed her right leg bouncing up and down fast as she read, deciding to test the waters a little I placed my left hand to see it would stop bouncing and it did.

Ryder gave me a little side eye with a smile on her face as my hand dropped she caught it and put it back to where my hand was originally making me smile 

"I tested the waters to see what would happen if my hand went on Ryder's leg, all I got was a side eye and a smile but what made it so much better was when she caught my hand placing it back on her. It's a great start to this morning for me anyway I'm not sure about the others." I said 

"It made me feel tingly and happy when he put his hand on my thigh it was a nice feeling, I'm just hoping this feeling can continue." Ryder smiles 

"Reading time is now over," she said closing her bible and looking at me "Did you enjoy it?" making me laugh "Yeah I did, it was very peaceful  and calming even though you weren't even reading out loud." making her smile 

"Alright let's go put your bible and reading glasses away and figure out what to do next," I said picking up our empty drinks off the ground "Can you swim?" I asked her "Yeah, I'm good enough so I won't drown." making me laugh as we walked up the stairs "Do Laken and Santi know how to swim?" I watched her eyes light up 

"Yes they do, they love being in the water even though they're two it's difficult for them to leave the pool unless there are snacks involved." showing me her dimples "They sounded like me when I was younger, what type of pool do you have?" Ryder shook her head at me "Heated and like this one." pointing to the villa's one 

As I went to say something we heard a ping "It's my phone." We hear Kira "Islanders, tonight there will be a recoupling. Girls will choose boys and anyone left single will be dumped from the villa. HastagWhorunstheworls Hastag Spiceitup." Kira spoke as I looked at Ryder "Well, that ruined our mood." Ryder sighed

"It doesn't need to," I told her as we went into the bedroom where she placed her bubble and reading classes on her bedside table "Tell me something that no one else knows?" I asked her "I'm ambidextrous, I can write with both hands." smiling at me 

"Hot." Ryder lets out a snort "One hand gets sore use the other." making me smirk "Don't even think about it." pointing at me "That's what she said." Ryder grabbed another pillow and started whacking me with it I got up body slamming her onto another bed making her laugh before grabbing someone else's pillow and hitting her with it "I'm done! I'm done." she said laughing
