 2495, June 12, A-Day....

"It's... is that an egg?" The one in the hazmat suit asked as they walked in the room as the machine shut off. The conduits turned off the electrical currents that were shooting the red bolts of lightning at the golden spires.

The egg was around the same size as a two-story building, and glowing a faint yellow and red on it's blue scales. Even though it's as just an egg, as the guy in the hazmat suit kept going, he couldn't help but feel as if he was being watched-

"Carl-"

"Holy... dammit Jake! Don't scare me like that!

"Sorry, but, what the hell are we looking at?"

"An egg, just like they reported I the other sites in the test sites in Australia and Antarctica."

"At least we have proof now, we now know for certain that we literally manifest an egg through this technology."

"An egg of what though. The readings show nothing, as if there's nothing here, it doesn't exist yet I'm right here looking at it..."

"A UT..."

"A what?"

"An ultraterrestrial."

"So an alien?"

"No, those are extraterrestrials, an ultra terrestrial is something that comes from another dimension, not another planet."

"So... that means?"

"An even better weapon, with this, we'll be able to completely overtake the United Govern, and we'll be the ones at the forefront of society, where we can start anew and-"

"Boss?"

"What?"

"It's... umm..." the man nervously pointed at the egg that was slowly starting to shift as large areas of it started to be covered in cracks. "Oh shit..." Carl said before quickly running to the exit and locking the door before the turrets descended from their stands above and aimed at the egg as it started to break and chunks of it fell to the side.

"Don't worry, the turrets are armed with darts laced with Astatine specially forged in one of the moon bases, we'll be fine even if an entity tries to escape like last time."

"Oh!" Carl sighed and took off the helmet to wipe his forehead of any sweat. "That's good at least, wait, you said there was a last ti-" he was interrupted as a piercing screech entered their minds, the ringing was unbearable as they fell and screamed as they all fell to the floor.

"Shoot it! Shoot it!"

The turrets let out a chime as they started unloading with a burr as they fired into the egg, the turrets soon depleted and the screeching came to an arupt halt.

"Is it over-" Carl asked before a spike suddenly shot out from the viewing glass and pierced into his chest, suddenly the lights all shattered but one as the sound of Carl's screams echoed in the room, before a crunching noise could be heard.

They could barely make out the blue and green silhouette illuminated by the yellow spots on the creature's eye, some of Carl's blood dripping from the jaws as it made a clicking noise before hissing and another shriek rang throughout their heads again.

By the time the boss got conscious again, he stared up in fear as he realized he and the others were in the enclosure, right underneath the dark figure with the glowing yellow eyes, staring down at him.

"You were right about one thing, we will start anew, just not in your image, in ours." A voice spoke in his head.

"In ours."

***

They had ravaged the continent of Europe in less than a few hours, the entire army fell without any fight and those who remained tried fleeing to the nearby moon colonies and space cities, The Russia- American alliance attempted to try and fight with their machines, managing to hold them off with the use of the prototype biomechs, something that was supposed to be condemned after the great disaster but even that, fell to the Lunarwings, the machines betrayed us for their new masters, instead of turning other machines into their slaves, they turned people, animals, plants, turning the entire planet into a grinder for humans, Earth turned on us, so we tried throwing our moon at it and tried glassing it with the dyson sphere. But they just came back, the Earth was remade in their image, and the moon was left shattered into three chunks of rock. The space city cities were destroyed quickly, and were shown no mercy, but us on the lunar colonies managed to survive, but not for long. They can't survive on the moons but they can destroy them, it's only a matter of time before the last are discovered. If there are still any others on Earth, they are rare, few, and completely subservient, I managed to hide, but they'll find me, just like everyone else, if you find me, if you somehow some last remnants of humanity, please understand, you can not win, Earth is not ours any longer, Mother Nature has turned against us, it has burned us, turn back, and don't provoke this world, or we will all die again. You can't stop the animus.
