Your POV
It's been a few days after the war, even though it was gone..I still felt so...vulnerable..my mom was constantly at work and never spent any time with me..she never made any time with me..I could never open up to people..I don't know what's wrong with myself why can't I be the same happy girl I used to be..
I felt warm tears streaming down my face when I heard a knock on my front door, I didn't bother to wipe my tears, I got up and walked to my front door, opening it to see Stanley, he was holding something but I didn't know what, I just quickly Hugged him I was slightly shaking as I felt his arms wrapped around my back, after a minute or so I pulled away, to see him holding some daisy's..my favorite flower, holding them out for me to take. I slowly took them, smiling, I step aside, so he could come in and he walked in..I shut my door. And walked over to my cabinets and grabbed a vase out of it and put some water in it then added the daisy's to it, setting the vase on my kitchen counter then walked over to Stanley..hugging him once again and pulled back
"Thanks for the flowers.." I say and he smiles
"..I wanted to get you something more but..I couldn't afford anything..I'm sorry"
"It's okay..I love the flowers..there really pretty.." I said
"I have something to ask you and tell you Y/N" he says as I look him in the eyes, waiting for him to say and ask
"...I have a confession...I've kinda liked you since I've met you...I know that's really weird probably but...I do...and the question is..do you wanna maybe go on a date with me this weekend?.."
He said with hopeful eyes, fiddling with the hem of his blue button up
"Of course I'd love to..! And I kinda have liked you too.." I replied, his eyes lit up and he hugged me, lifting my off the ground and spinning around, making me giggle a little
As he sat me back on my feet, I look at him, kissing him softly....
