Hirata [So the surnames of the students were divided up in order of zodiac signs]
Me {It's currently lunch and Myself, Hirata, Horikita, and Karuizawa we're currently discussing the Western Zodiac Exam. But they decided to come to the pallet cafe and I don't know why because Yoshida can't come here until October 1st}
Horikita [The fourth Zodiac sign used in this exam was the Aries group. Which had Ichinose-San, Ibuki-San, and Karuizawa-san]
Karuizawa [But I thought that the fourth western zodiac sign was "Cancer"]
Horikita [That is true, but the western zodiac signs are assigned by month and days unlike the Chinese zodiac signs that we're familiar with. Those go by year]
Hirata [I see so we have to start at the beginning of the year to organize the groups]
Me [What do you mean?]
Me {Great acting Kiyotaka!}
Horikita [*Sigh*. What it means is we have to start with the zodiac sign that starts with January 1st]
Karuizawa [But there isn't any zodiac signs that start with January 1st]
Horikita [So we look for the zodiac sign that covers January 1st]
Hirata [And that would be...]
Me [Capricorn]
Horikita [Yes. Then we follow by the months. Which will result in this pattern Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces, Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, and Sagittarius]
Karuizawa [So then how were the groups formed?]
Horikita [I have reason to believe that the VIP were chosen in order of the surnames of the students. And corresponding to the group number]
Karuizawa [Wait, you lost me for a second]
Hirata [Basically if the four of us were in a group the line up would be like this "Ayanogoatji-kun", "Karuizawa-San", "Hirata", and "Horikita-San". And then let's say we're in the Pisces group which is the third zodiac. So the VIP would be me.]
Karuizawa [I understand now]
Horikita [Thank you Hirata-kun]
Hirata [But we don't know how they placed each student in each group. Because Ayanokoji-kun overheard the teachers talking about how the "Taurus" Group were designed to house all of the class leaders. And the reason Ichinose-San wasn't in there was because of Hoshinomiya-Sensei choosing otherwise]
Karuizawa [Oh. But who was the VIP for your guy's group?]
Horikita [We don't know]
Karuizawa [What do you mean?]
Me [Yoshida submitted the VIP randomly and got it right. So the only person who would know that is him]
Karuizawa [That stupid boy.... Wait! Can't we just use the same method to find out who the VIP was?]
Horikita [I didn't think of that]
Hirata [Does anyone have a picture on their phones?]
Me [I do]
Me {I showed them my phone with all of the group names}
Me {I already lined them up alphabetically, And put their class name. Ando B, Ayanogoatji D, Hirata D, Horikita D, Kanzaki B, Katsuragi A, Matoba A, Nishikawa A, Oda C, Ryuuen C, Sonoda C, Suzuki C, Tsube B, Yoshida D.}
