[It's nighttime. Kylie, Nat Edna and Katie are having a sleepover, about to get ready for bed.]
Kylie: Aw man, we have the best sleepovers together!
Nat: I know, as much as I love having the boys for our sleepovers at times, I have fun with you three a lot! Especially since we're probably literally the only nice girls in Peach Creek.
Katie: (trying to grab her hair bow) Edna? Can you help me?
Edna: (she smiles at Katie) Okay, yeah.
[Edna takes Katie's bow out of her hair.]
Katie: Thank you.
Edna: Welcome.
(Katie snuggles in her sleeping bag)
Katie: Mmmmm, bedtime.
Edna: Yes, you must've been active all day. (She looks at the other two)
Kylie and Nat: Night, Edna.
Edna: Night, you two. (Looks at Katie) Night-night, Katie.
Katie: Night-night, Edna. Um...Edna? Lullaby?
Edna: Oh, of course. [clears throat]
[Edna starts to sing Birdhouse In Your Soul by They Might Be Giants.]:
Katie: (starts to sleep)
Edna: Awwww she's asleep. [gives Katie a kiss] Night-night, Katie. Sweet dreams.
[The next scene is Katie's dream sequence. Magical music plays as she walks into a dark, purple forest.]
Dream Katie: Ooh, I'm in a dream! Oh, the sky's dark.
[She sees many dark colored tree and a buzzing noises can be heard.]
Dream Katie: Oh, this is scary... hello? Anyone? (She hears the buzzing) Who's that?! I'm not interested in meeting you! I'm scared. I'm scared!
[The scene cuts back to Katie in her sleeping bag, twisting and turning.]
Katie: I'm scared, I'm scared! I'm scared, I'm scared, I'm scared! Edna? Edna?
Edna: [wakes up and picks her up] I'm here, I'm here!
[Edna turns on the light.]
Katie: Edna.
Edna: I'm here. Don't be so loud, Nat and Ky are sleeping.
Katie: Sorry, I got scared.
Edna: You got scared?
Katie: My dream was bad. I was in a forest, it was so dark. I couldn't see the trees, so scary. I heard buzzing, I couldn't see what it was. It was bad.
Edna: I understand. Katie, it's only a dream. You're safe. You okay?
Katie: I'm okay.
Edna: Oh, good. Night-night, Katie.
Katie: Edna?
Edna: Yes?
Katie: Water, please.
Edna: Oh!
[Edna takes a sippie sup of water and gives it to her.]
Katie: [slurping]
Edna: Night-night, Katie.
[She turns off the light.]
Katie: [urgently] Edna?! Water, please?
Edna: [a little annoyed] Okay.
Katie: [slurping from the cup again]
Edna: Night-night, Katie. [gives her a kiss]
Katie: Edna?
[Edna turns the light on again.]
Edna: [sighs] Water?
Katie: (Shakes head for no) Mm-mm. Wet diaper.
Edna: Oh! Come on. (Still carrying Katie, Edna walks offscreen to change Katie's diaper)
