Alisha's POV:

Dating Siddhart was a whirlwind of emotions and gentle moments. He had a way of making me feel cherished and seen in a way no one else ever had.

He was always attentive, calling me at the same time every day to check in, even if it was just for a few minutes.

And if he couldn't call on time, he made sure to call back as soon as he could.

Our conversations would stretch into the night, filled with laughter, shared dreams, and comforting silences.

One day, I decided to surprise him. Why should boys have all the fun planning dates? I wanted to show him how much he meant to me.

So, I planned an outing to an arcade, a place I knew he’d love.

The idea of taking my man on a date felt empowering and exciting. Nothing wrong with that, right?

We arrived at the arcade, and Siddhart’s eyes lit up like a kid’s.

We played various games, from air hockey to racing games. His competitive streak matched mine, and we spent hours challenging each other, laughing, and celebrating our wins.

As we were collecting our tickets to redeem prizes, a girl walked up to us. She had a friendly smile and greeted Siddhart warmly. "Sid, is that you?"

"Maya? Wow, it’s been ages!" Siddhart exclaimed, pulling her into a quick side hug.

He then turned to me, his arm around my waist. "Maya, this is Alisha, my girlfriend."

Maya smiled at me. "Nice to meet you, Alisha. Siddhart’s a lucky guy."

"Nice to meet you too," I replied, forcing a smile. Maya seemed sweet, but as they talked and laughed about old school memories, a pang of jealousy hit me.

They shared a history I wasn't a part of, and I couldn’t help but feel a bit left out.

After a few minutes, Maya excused herself.

"I’ve got to get back to my friends. It was great seeing you, Siddhart. And Alisha, take good care of him."

"I will," I promised, watching her walk away.

Siddhart noticed my silence and turned to me. "Hey, everything okay?"

"Yeah, just a bit surprised," I admitted. "She seems nice."

"She’s an old friend from school," he explained, sensing my unease.

"But you’re the one I’m with now. You’re the one who matters."

I nodded, putting my jealousy aside.

"I know. I guess I’m just not used to seeing you with someone else."

He smiled, pulling me into a quick hug.

"You have nothing to worry about. You’re the only one for me."

His words eased my jealousy, and I pushed aside my insecurities. We continued our date, playing more games and finally redeeming our tickets for silly prizes.

We ended the day with ice cream, sitting on a bench outside the arcade, watching the sunset.

"Thank you for today," Siddhart said, licking his ice cream. "This was one of the best dates ever."

I smiled, feeling a warm glow inside. "I’m glad you enjoyed it. I just wanted to show you how much you mean to me."

"You do that every day, Alisha," he said softly, taking my hand.

"But today was special. I loved every moment of it."

As we sat there, enjoying the simple pleasure of each other’s company, I realized that our relationship was built on moments like these.

Moments of love, understanding, and shared happiness. And I wouldn’t trade them for anything in the world.

Next day in college, I was rushing to my class when I unexpectedly bumped into Shubham. His face twisted into a sneer as he looked at me.

Hey, Alisha,” he said, his tone dripping with bitterness.

Do you know what your precious friends did to me? Nandani, Siddhart, and Rohan—they tortured me. I was in the hospital because of them,”

His words stunned me. I couldn't believe those three would do something so extreme, but the conviction in Shubham’s voice made me pause.

I stared at him, my mind racing. Could it be true? Could they have really done such a thing?

But then I remembered all the horrible things Shubham had done, the way he treated me. My doubt quickly turned into a fierce resolve.

You know what, Shubham?” I said, placing a firm hand on his shoulder. His eyes widened in surprise, and before he could react, I kicked him hard in the groin.

They did it because you deserve it, you asshole,” I declared, my voice steady and full of conviction.

From behind me, I heard a burst of clapping. I turned to see Siddhart, a proud smile on his face.

That’s my girl,” he said, his eyes twinkling with admiration. “Now, let’s go.”

With that, we left Shubham writhing in pain and headed towards the library. Exams were approaching, and we needed to study.

As we walked side by side, I couldn’t help but feel a rush of pride and satisfaction.I

I knew I had done the right thing, standing up to someone who deserved it and showing that I wasn’t someone to be messed with.

In the library, we found a quiet corner and settled down with our books. Despite the upcoming exams, my mind kept wandering back to the moment with Shubham and Siddhart’s proud smile.

It felt good to have someone who stood by me and believed in me, someone who appreciated my strength and courage.

Ready to hit the books?” Siddhart asked, his voice pulling me back to the present.

I nodded, giving him a smile. “Ready as I’ll ever be.”

We spent the next few hours immersed in our studies.

As our exams approached, the four of us—Rohan, Nandani, Siddhart, and I—decided to start studying together at Nandani's house, which wasn't far from our hostel. I sometimes wondered why she chose to live in the hostel when her home was so close, but it was nice to have a change of scenery.

When we reached her house, we were warmly welcomed by her mother. Nandani's face lit up with happiness as she introduced us all. Rohan, as always, was trying his best to impress her mother with his charm and politeness.

"Namaste, Aunty! Nandani always talks about your delicious cooking. I can't wait to try some,"

Rohan said with a broad smile.

Her mother laughed, clearly amused by his antics. "You're all welcome here anytime," she replied warmly.

Suddenly, we heard a girly voice exclaim, "Oh my God, hi guys!" I turned around, surprised, because I knew Nandani didn't have a sister—she was an only child.

As I turned, I saw that it was Maya, the same girl from the arcade.

What is she doing here?
