00:17 AM. NEW NINJAGO CITY
it's the start of the new year and the princess of ninjago is crying.
y/n walks in her house, the tears fresh on her face. d/n walks down the stairs, stopping as he sees his daughter. dressed up, looking pretty. wait, she's looking sad.
"y/n?" he questions, looking at her. y/n's [eye colour] eyes meet his and she bursts into a sob, slumping to the ground. her mascara and eyeliner running down her face.
d/n rushes over her to, not sure what to do. he gets on his knees and he hugs her, his hands feeling the material of her coat.
d/n rubs her back soothingly as she continues to cry. henry notices the scene, rushing down to pick y/n back up and take her to her room.
"i've got it, henry," d/n says, looking up at the older male. henry nods at the mayor, letting d/n pick up y/n who's tired herself out by crying. over her soulmate. her soulmate that doesn't want her.
henry hoped that they would bond again. but not under the circumstance that y/n is crying.

y/n wakes up, her eyes feeling sore. she sits up, seeing some cookies and a hot sweet drink in her favourite pink mug.
she looks around for sailor, seeing her golden retriever sleeping at the end of her bed. she reaches for the mug, seeing the note was the was under it.
