08:30 AM. NEW NINJAGO CITY
a black eighteen year girl sits down on a chair, her short black faux locs under a green bandana. the chair having the word 'director' on it.
"is it rolling?" she asks, looking at the camera.
"it is now," the camera man says, smiling at her. "can you state your name, please?"
"hi," gabi waves at the camera and smiles. "my name is gabi which is short for gabriella. i am eighteen years old, i go by she/her pronouns and i am the director for soulmates!"
"why did you make soulmates?"
"oh because i had a lot of spare time," gabi starts. "when i started it off, i had no friends. not like that's changed much but, i have more now. i also saw a soulmate au book with the different types of soulmate bonds you could have and i have always wanted to do a lloyd fanfiction so i did. originally, it was going to be a original character but i get so embarrassed when i make one up for some reason so i left it as a x reader,"
"how do you feel now it's gotten so famous?"
"i'm really happy!" gabi smiles. "honestly, to everyone who's reading i appreciate you so much! but enough about me, let's go and annoy my favourite actors," gabi gets off her chair, moving out of the frame.

"hey guys," y/n waves to the camera as lloyd casually puts his arm around her waist. there's nothing casual about it. y/n's wearing a green jumper and lloyd, a pink shirt.
"hey, what's up?" he says with a smile. "this is the one and only y/n l/n," y/n looks at lloyd before making a face at the camera. "and i'm lloyd montgomery garmadon. the two main actors in the phenomena, soulmates!"
"did you know what you were getting into when you started?"
y/n and lloyd look at each other, lloyd motions for her to go first and she does.
