Chapter 54: Training Among Shadows

It was going to be one month before the Rating Game against Sona and her peerage. Thankfully, both Team Gremory and Team Sitri had a bit of a headstart thanks to the 20 day training camp. The Rating Game doesn't start until August, so both teams were given a full month to train before the match.

Training Field, Underworld

On a training field outside of the Underworld, Team Gremory could be seen preparing to start their training.
It was as planned, Kagari was going to assist Kiba, Issei, and Gasper but before he did so, there was something he had to announce.

Kagari: Hey, Rias. I got something I need to say. So, I'll take the lead here.

Rias: Go ahead.

Kagari: Well guys, you already know that I can't participate in The Rating Game with you this tine, so I'll be assisting you in training.

Akeno: So, you'll be helping me too, dear?

Akeno: If so, maybe I can show you my own type of "training."

Kagari: Maybe later. But seriously, I'm going to help you guys out.

Lint: And how are you going to help all of us?

Kagari: Like this.

Just then, Kagari's shadow began to grow in size as multiple creatures emerged out of his shadow.

Beru, Igris, Tank, Tusk, Iron, Ranga, and Kumara were all standing behind him.

Xenovia: Oh?

Issei: Hey, it's been a while since we've seen these guys again.

Kagari: Well, we haven't been in any crazy battles since the Faction Meeting at Kuoh. Anyway, here's how this is going to work.

Kagari: Igris and myself are going to face off with Kiba, Xenovia, Lint, and Li.

Li: I can't participate either. But, I do wish to try and perfect my holy magic.

Kagari: Tusk is going to face off against Rias and Akeno.

Kagari: Kumara and Iron are going to be facing Koneko to assist her Sage Arts.

Koneko: Dope.

Kuroka: Yoruichi and I will be helping Shirone, of course.

Yoruichi: Naturally.

Kagari: Issei is going to be with Tank and Ranga to build up more stamina.

Issei: Why do I get the Bear and the Wolf?!

Kagari: As for Gasper, he'll be facing shadow foot soldiers to perfect his time stopping abilities and Asia you'll be incharge of healing him and everyone else from a far distance.

Kagari: And before anyone asks, No. They are not going to try and kill you. The goal is for all of you to build your strengths.

Kagari's Thoughts: I'll have Zegion and Apito stand guard around the field with a few soldiers.
