Evi:
"I've missed you." As soon as these words have left my mouth I press my lips on Bill's again.
I wrap my arms tightly around his neck and pull him as close to me as I can. I make myself a little taller by standing on the tips of my toes.
My tongue caresses his and I feel butterflies in my stomach.
I have long forgotten the photos I just saw, as well as the feeling they gave me.
Bill buries one hand in my hair and runs one hand down my back.
I press him against the door, which he had closed in the meantime, and press my body firmly against his.
Bill stops the kiss and looks at me. "I missed you too."
Bill takes a step forward which causes me to take one back. He looks at me longingly and wraps his arms around my waist.
I'm just pressing my lips to Bill's again when the door flies open. I quickly let go of Bill and see my brother standing in the doorway.
"Can't you knock?!" I look at him irritated.
"Um, dinner's ready." He stammers and closes the door. A sigh leaves my mouth and I look at Bill again.
"Will I see you later?" He nods and presses his lips on mine one last time before we walk down the stairs and towards the front door.
"We can watch a movie if you want." The look he gives me makes my cheeks turn red.
"Good idea." I press my lips to his longingly and too quickly for my liking he ends the kiss again. "Our place, seven o'clock?"
"Yep!"
I close the door and walk towards the kitchen where my brother and mom are already sitting at the table.
I sit down at my chair and take some food. Out of the corner of my eye I see Nick looking at me and I look at him questioningly.
The silence at the table is more awkward than usual.
"Is it okay if I go to Bill and Tom's tonight?"
I look at Mom questioningly and in the meantime I put food in my mouth. “Sure, love.”

After dinner I quickly helped clean the kitchen and then went to my room. I've just opened my laptop when I hear a soft knock on the door. "Come in!"
The door opens and I see Nick standing in the doorway. I look at him questioningly.
"Uhm," He stutters and rocks back and forth uncomfortably.
"So, you and bill?" I feel myself turning red and look away for a moment.
“Do mom and dad know?”
I shake my head. "Not really no."
"Are you sure?"
"About what?" I look at my brother a little confused.
"About Bill."
"It's not like we're getting married next week."
"Just don't do anything you don't want to, okay?”
I look at him with a small smile on my face and nod.
Since my ex, my brother has been quite protective of me, especially when it comes to boys. I'm surprised he's responding so well to this. And for a moment it flashes through my mind whether that would also be the case if I were involved with Tom.
"Don't worry, Bill is okay."
Nick hangs awkwardly in the doorway and I look at him questioningly.
"What?"
“You know Bill is three years older?”
I look at him with a frown on my face.
"Yes, I know."
"Are you being careful?"
"Nick! I'm not going to discuss my sex life with my brother!" I look at him with big eyes and stand up straight.
"Did you and Bill-"
"No!"
I can see the relief in his eyes.
He remains hesitant for a moment but then walks towards his own room.
