LUKAS POV

Waking up with Jules snuggled up next to me feels like a double shot of espresso. Just being near her gives me an energy boost in the morning, a nice wake up call.

It takes everything in me to get out of bed and wander into the kitchen. If I could've stayed in that bed next to her all day, I would've.

I grab a glass of water and down it, it always wakes me up immediately. I open the fridge to grab some fruit but stop once my eyes land on the girl I left alone in bed this morning.

"Good morning," I greet in a low voice. I snake my arms around her waist and hug her from behind.

"Morning," she mimics softly. She leans into my touch as I plant a soft kiss onto her cheek. I wish I could just stay right here and kiss her all day.

"There's this spot out on the lake that I want to show you tonight," I mention. I turn her around with a soft spin to face me.

"We can go whenever everyone wakes up," she replies as she leans on her tiptoes to kiss my cheek.

"I said there's a spot I want to show you," I repeat, trying to clarify my words for her. Her eyes spark and it lets me know she caught what I was trying to throw.

"Should I dress up?" she questions with a soft smile.

"Nope, just bring yourself," I answer as I lean down to kiss her lips. I don't care if I've kissed her plenty of times before, the same spark I feel for her always reignites whenever our lips touch.

I could kiss her all day. I would if this house was empty if we're being honest. She makes me feel all giddy inside, giddy, this girl is seriously doing something to me.

"Good morning," a voice greets from around the corner. Jules quickly peels away from me and begins to poke around the fridge as I take a side step and look around with her. "What's the plan for today?" Kiara questions, clearly not taking attention to whatever she just saw.

"I was thinking about taking everyone jet skiing," I mention, turning around to face her.

"When are we going?" she questions with a burst of excitement.

"We can go right now?" I suggest.

"I'm going to go wake everyone!" she quickly starts as she runs back to her room. I'm going to miss Kiara whenever I go off to college. She's like a little sister to me so I can only imagine how Julie feels about leaving her in the fall.

I hear Jules softly laugh from behind me and then the fridge close in return.

"What?" I question with a stupid smile on my face. The sound of her laughter feels like a stroll through a garden of flowers. I wish every word I said made her laugh if it meant I had the pleasure of hearing those sounds come out of her.

"She's always so giddy, I don't think I've ever seen her angry before," Jules mentions as she walks towards the front door.

"Where are you going?" I quickly question.

"We're riding the jet skies right?" she says as an announcement rather than a question. The door closes behind her and I'm quick to follow in her footsteps. The second I'm outside, she's already halfway down the path. For a girl with short legs, she sure does walk fast. I pick up the pace until the both of us are standing in front of the dock. "How many jet skies do you have?"

"Three," I answer, catching my breath. She seriously walks so fast.

"I'm driving," she quickly continues as she starts towards my most expensive and fast jetski.
