The summer is passing by so quickly, as the last month of summer has went by quickly. On my days off, we have spent more time on the lake swimming and fishing.

Blaze will be starting first grade in two days and Stella will be starting her new kindergarten class that day.

Earlier today, we spent the day outside. Now though, Aunt Rachel and Uncle Josh has picked Blaze up where he is staying with them tonight as I have planned a date night for Stella and I.

"Jade?" Stella rounds the corner coming out from her shower with her lounge clothes on.

"Yes?"

"Where is Blaze?" She looks to his bedroom but the light is off.

"He is with Aunt Rachel and Uncle Josh, they came by to pick him up for a night at their house during your shower."

"Oh." Stella sits on the couch. "I didn't know they wanted him over for the night."

I nod. "They did and also because I asked if they wouldn't mind him going over."

"Why?" She tilts her head and Lusha comes up for some head scratches. I give her a minute then stand from the couch.

My feet move to the closet and I pull out a medium size box with a bow on it before walking back to the couch. "I got this for you."

Stella frowns. "I hadn't forgotten anything as your birthday isn't here yet and it isn't our anniversary for the first day we met quite yet."

With a shake of my head, I smile wide. "No, but I just wanted to gift my wife with something special. The new school year is right at us and seen these."

She opens the lid and gasps. "Jade." Her voice a whisper as her fingers pet over the flats and purse. "This is to expensive."

"Nonsense." I lean over the couch and kiss her neck. "I hope you have something to wear to match those."

Stella hums then nods.

"Good, because you are going to need it." I walk to the bedroom and she stands before following me. With a spin, I face her by my closet door. "Meet you in the living room in fifeteen minutes? We have a date."

"Fifeteen!" She screeches lightly before rushing into her closet, making me chuckle.

In no time, I am waiting by the front door and Stella walks out exactly at the fifeteen minute mark. "That was the fastest I got ready for a date."

"You look gorgeous." My breath is hard to get out as she steals all the air from my lungs at the sight of her.

"I didn't think we go on dates." Stella blushes.

"Dates never stop just because we are married." I hold a hand out and she takes it. We step outside and I lock the house before leading her to the car.

"Are you ready for school to start?" I ask as the server leaves from getting our drink orders.
