🍓Check out this amazing book 'Vegas Baby' which has a captivating romance plot and an intriguing love after marriage storyline! It's definitely worth diving into!🍓
🍓Title : 3.8/5
•The title "Vegas Baby" is short and simple yet intriguing, hinting at the events that happened between the two main characters in Vegas.
•It fits the plot well.
•However, I think the author, Dazzling, could have added any subtitle to the main title, but overall, it's still good.🥰🍓Cover : 4.5/5
•The cover is pretty good.
•It effectively depicts the scene of the drunk wedding between Sidhu and Sanchu, which is intriguing and piqued my interest.
•The title is noticeable, along with the phrase "Bad drinkers in Vegas are destined to marry." I have to say, this can intrigue most readers as it did me.
•However, one suggestion for the author is to make her name at the bottom left of the cover more clear and noticeable, as it currently looks too tiny.
•Additionally, brightening up the overall cover a little bit would enhance its appeal.🍓Blurb : 5/5
•The blurb is pretty good.
•I can't think of any improvements because it really interested me at first glance.
•It gives a clear idea of what will happen in the story without being too vague or overly revealing of the plot.
•It's short yet intriguing.
•Good job with the blurb, author Vee!! 🥰🍓Character development : 4.5/5
•The characters were really well-developed.
•I can't say anything negative about them because I felt the emotions of the characters were well balanced in the initial chapters, whether the situation was sad, confusing, or happy.
•It's all written very well, and their emotions are vividly portrayed.
•When the two main leads were drunk, they talked excitedly with each other, but when they realized the situation the next morning, they were confused and scared.
•It was good to read the story from their points of view as the author wrote separate chapters from both characters' perspectives. This helped me understand their emotions more clearly.
•Oh, and the side characters! I have to mention the two leads' friends. These characters were great as well! They portrayed a good friendship, and it was well shown in the story! ✨
•The family dynamics and the emotions between the two main leads' families were also well-written.
•One thing I would like to mention is that I feel like both Sidhu and Sanchu accepted each other as wifey and hubby a bit too soon. It felt a bit out of character and lacking in emotional depth, but was still good. I do think after they both spend time in Sudhu's house, their emotions could have been expressed more well.
•Overall, everything was good.🍓Plot : 8.5/10
•The plot might seem a bit similar to other books I have read, but it still stood out well due to the author's unique writing style. To be honest, this is my first time to read an Indian book in this app, and the author really impressed me.
•It was really intriguing and often funny, with a full romance genre and a love-after-marriage plot.
•From the start, the pacing was very balanced. It was refreshing to read a story that maintained a good pace, as many books I’ve read struggle with this, even when the story and writing skills are strong.
•However, when they all boarded the plane to get back to India, the plot felt a bit rushed. Once they landed, the pacing returned to its balanced state, but again, when Sanchu woke up in Sidhu's house the next day, the pace felt a little fast.
•In these faster-paced sections, the author could have described the scenes more thoroughly.
•Overall, the plot was pretty good and unique, with its own voice.✨A little improvement in pacing would make it even better.✨✨✨🍓Grammar/Vocabulary : 9/10
•Even though there were several grammatical mistakes and typos, they didn't significantly affect the story or my enjoyment as a reader.
•The writing style is pretty good, easy to understand and well-described when necessary.
•However, I do think the author needs to put in some work on the world-building section, especially when the characters return to India.
•Additionally, the characters' expressions could be described more effectively after the chapters where they spend time in Sidhu's house.
•There were also occasional missing commas, but these didn't disrupt the flow of my reading too much.
•Overall, it was a pretty good reading experience, and I liked the author's writing style. It was intriguing and sometimes funny.
•With a little editing here and there, and some more work on world-building, it could become a standout story! Well done, author Vee!✨🍓Overall Impression : 9.5/10
•The book 'Vegas Baby' had me hooked from the intriguing blurb to the interesting plot and writing style. It was really good, to be honest.
•I also want to praise the author for creating those amazing graphics, especially the banners for the story. They made the story look calm yet really elegant. It felt like my computer screen was adorned with elegance as it displayed each chapter of the story for me to read.
•As expected from a graphic designer, I thought to myself, lol.🤭
•Overall, everything was pretty good, and I don't have much else to say because the whole book kept me interested. You really did a fantastic job, author! The graphics were dazzling just like your name! ✨🍓Final marks : 44.8/50
🍓Last note :
•For the pointers, I believe the author has a unique writing style, and I really loved it. As I mentioned earlier, if the author works on the world-building, her story will really resonate well with readers. As for the characters' emotions, I believe I have already elaborated enough on that.
•But I am surprised the author Vee doesn't have more readers for this book, but I want to tell her that the book is really, really good!!! ✨
•I wish I could find this book on my bookshelf one day. It would be awesome!! ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨Reviewer : Yoonkeeri
