Chapter 1: The Awakening (Two Very Different Lives ?)

It was still rush hour at the Guild and Eina Tulle was distracted for the past hour.

An hour ago, the Loki Familia came back from their recent expedition This added to the excitement of the rush hour.

However, they were not the only ones that came back from the dungeon, one of her adventurers came back from the dungeon unconscious.

Thankfully, Loki Familia was kind enough to bring him to the guild medical hall.

Said adventurer was reported running away from a Minotaur and was struck from behind. The adventurer was Bell Cranel.

Eina couldn't stop thinking about him for the next hour, distracting her from her work. As a guild receptionist, she never wanted her adventures to die.

She would always love for her adventures to live happy lives. However in this case...

'When he wakes up, I'm so gonna lecture him!!!', she thought.

Eina was angry and annoyed at Bell.

'He was on the fifth floor!!! Why!!??'

Eina tapped her foot on the ground repetitively.

'... and a Minotaur for God's sake!! He could've been-'

"Go to him"

"Eek!"

Eina's heart jumped a little. and turned around slowly to see her coworker, Misha Flott, staring at her.

"Go to your lover already", she smirked teasingly.

"He- he's not my lover OK!! I'm just worried for his safety. That's all.", Eina said with flush cheeks.

" Aha then why have you been staring at the medical hall five minutes straight instead of filling out the paperwork", Misha said, rolling her eyes as she smirked.

" I- I was working on it," Eina stuttered " ... and besides, who's going to do the paperwork then"

"I'll do it you just go and put your mind, at ease"

Eina looked at her friend, then at the paperwork, and back again. She nodded her head and smiled.

"Thank you, Misha."

Then she walked off to the medical hall.
