Chapter 5: The Hosttess of Fertility (Working Overtime?)

" Is he for real?!!"

Hestia was in the middle of an internal crisis. Her Familia member just requested a date. Just like that ...out of the blue. Her entire face was bright red and she was sweating.

' why is he on his knee proposing? We go on a date, right?', she internally questioned.

' I mean I get that his stats have risen insanely high... but still...'

"Um...Bell-", Hestia started.

Bell then interrupted, putting a finger on his goddesses, lips, " Now hold on."

He slowly began to inch closer to her ear. Saying, in contrast to his usual naïve behavior, maturely and sweetly,

" Let me make it a little... more clear to you."

"Eek!!!"

Hestia jumped in her seat a little.

Silence came forth. Hestia didn't stop Bell when lips reached he ear she braced herself. However...

" Stay quiet, we're being watched," Bell whispered.

'Eh?', Hestia thought.

" I have a place in mind where we can go.", Bell
Said still in a hushed voice. " if my hunch is right, we should be able to shake them."

Hestia was stunned. to say that she was alarmed was an understatement

"Why?", she whispered.

" I have an idea of why...but I'm not sure yet."

Although it wasn't the answer, Hestia wanted it to be enough.

However, that's not all she wanted to ask.

From her experience, Bell wasn't one to be this clever. Not to say he wasn't smart Bell was just very naïve.

No... this newfound maturity was probably something he gained from Toji.

'He's more mature now...huh?', Hestia thought sadly.

She thought the day would be further away when he would grow up. After all entire lifetime for immortals, is like a flash of light for the gods.

' He even thought of a date as a cover...' Hestia thought. 'How smart. However...'

" Yes! Of course!!!" Hestia shouted happily, Then planted a kiss right on Bell's cheek.

And just as Hestia predicted, his face turned a cherry red.

' I knew it. Not all his naïveté was lost.' Hestia jumped for joy as she thought. ' I can use this to go on a date with him.'

Bell knotted his head, not saying anything his face still flushed.

Bell shook his head abruptly as if to clear his thoughts.

' I need to focus! people are watching us. They may have ill intentions.' Bell pondered. 'From what I sensed there's at least five of them.'

Due to his skill 'Heavenly restriction' growing in percentage ever so slightly, he felt the five people's presence. There were three things to note about them.
