Consider Scary Larry lucky that he was brought to his other base. The Warehouse of course. From what he learned? Scary Barry was about to smash him unconscious furthermore and drag him back into the experiment room, only for his crowbar to clash with a rolling pin and two bigger crowbars. Seemingly both Chef and Brute Minion had just come in time to distract him.

Of course, they were the only ones who at least had the brain and decency to act quickly. Enough for Leafy to come back and stop everything. More lucky Scary Narry decided to spare them for once and just resulted to Chef and Brute getting fired-

Hey. At least it's better to be alive instead of being dead. Right? More members there are, the better.

The jackpot was when Leafy was found by the Dream Team. Despite the tension between them and the purgers, the least they could do is be relieved that they found the kid. Even perhaps bargain them to help to stop Scary Mary and the others.

So not only Scary Larry's minions are at the Warehouse, but himself, Leafy and the Dream Team are staying at the warehouse. Not just for a place to stay but a place to plan on their next move on how to stop the grand purge fiasco in whole. Well of course, there was one person who..

Scary Larry was just sitting there in silence on top of the warehouse, He had obvious reasons to be up there. Not really much of a social guy since high school. Despite being on neutral with Dream Team, he just rather not spend time with them. Feels awkward to be talking to your enemies, especially the detective who was sent out to arrest him. He also felt a little embarrassed. For breaking down in front of a literal toddler when he was a fucking old mobster.

As usual, he went back to playing Tetris again while just staring at the forest in silence. Just silence with his own thoughts. Until he heard what felt like another person playing Tetirs as usual. He immediately paused and looked down at his side to see Leafy, holding a gameboy in his hands. And surprisingly he is going very well for a toddler his age.

"You play that too, Twig?" Scary Larry spoke while glancing at the small gameboy with his hands. "I'm surprised little brats like you would still play these things." He added with a snarky remark. He isn't that type of nice guy after a good reality check. He's a purge leader after all. It's not like once you flip a switch on him, he would be Mr Goodie two shoes immediately.

Leafy paused while playing and looked up at him, looking a little offended. But it was kinda hard to tell since he was a player and they have their own signature faces. Scary Larry glanced at him.

"Right. Sorry." He muttered while facepalming. It's gonna take a while till he can be civil here. As he went back to gazing at the sky, a thought clicked him.

"You had a sister. Right?" He signed at Leafy which surprisingly made Leafy to look at him. He does know a little handful of sign language. Being the nerd he was back then. Leafy nodded and seemingly signed back to him, "Yes. I have a big sissy. "

"She was the only one who took care of me."

Scary Larry was surprised to know that. Yes his sister was a pain in the ass to deal with back then. But he didn't know she was his sole family member.

"Is that so? What about your parents?"

"They abandoned us. Big sissy had to take care of me."

"What?" Scary Larry was more surprised. But he frowned a little. "Let me guess. Now with your sister gone, You have no one. Don't you?" Scary Larry finally muttered. Leafy looks at the ground, beforing holding out a leaf. A lucky clover leaf. Despite it small and a little withered

"At least I have this leaf. I like leaves. This one reminds me of big sis. Her name is Colover." Leafy signed. Scary Larry looked at the leaf and chuckled a little. "Yea, nice leaf you got there." He said before staring at the sky again.

Leafy sat and continued to sit beside him until he was picked up and placed on his lap. Seeing the better view of the sky. Stars shining brightly across the sky.

"You know. things have been shitty to all of us. But I should probably say... 'Thank you'.. For saving my ass back there, even when I have done nothing but pain in the ass to you." Scary Larry muttered. "I don't even know what to do in my life anymore. From being a feared Mobster to.. This." he added.

He really doesn't know what to do now. The one thing he was good at was purges. But that was snatched away from. Now he was nothing.

Till he was snapped back to reality when he saw Leafy holding out the clover leaf. "I don't know but this will make you feel better." he signed before placing the withered plant into the hands of the mobster. Scary Larry stared at it in silence.

"It does." He muttered while slightly fidgeting with it. He then glanced at Leafy, seeing him sit there innocently, with no one to care for a child like him. He has no one too.

"I'm here."

Scary Larry said.

"I'm here for you. Like how you are here for me.."

"I'll be responsible for you. Since nobody's there for you. Might as well be the one then." He said while looking at Leafy. "No child should deserve this near death faith. Least I could do is take care of you and help the Dream Team."

Leafy's eyes widened. Next thing Larry knew Leafy was practically jumping on while tugging his beard happily, as a way to show his excitement. Scary Larry was startled but had a small smile.

That's something he's gonna have to learn to get used to when handling a toddler.

But that doesn't matter.

What matters is that he was here.

How knows what kind of life awaits him?

But all they need to do is to stop the Grand Purge from commencing. And stop Headmaster and his subjects. Even if they were his friends.
