The howling of winds and loud thunder broke the restless slumber of Bhargavi. She could feel her heartbeating at an unusual speed and her palms were turning sweaty. She decided to check whether her family has returned or not.
Bhargavi took careful steps with one hand placed on her bump delicately while other was taking support of the wall as she moved downstairs. She could see silhouette of two figures standing by the kitchen entrance. She thought maybe......maybe they were Aditya and his wife but how wrong she was. As soon as she came near the kitchen, she Heard some whispering-
' Mahal mein toh koi bhi nhi hai....humara kaam aur zada aasan ho gaya hai. Jaldi chal uss ladki ko dhundhte hai isse pehle ki koi as jaye.'
( There is no one in the palace....our job has been made easier. Let's hurry up and find that woman before someone spots us)She kept her palm on her mouth to muffle any kind of sound coming out. She couldn't help but crease her belly to calm herself down, she knew if she didn't took care about anything at that moment but safety of her unborn child. She started walking towards the opposite side of her chamber as she knew that they will look for her at her bedroom. She thanked the almighty that she took off her anklets before going to bed as her feets started swelling and it was difficult for her to keep wearing them for long hours.
Bhargavi was about to enter the corridor leading to the east wing when someone's hand covered her mouth and pulled her to the darker part of the palace.
On the other side
Abhima's restlessness couldn't allow him to move far away from his wife. He decided that he will let his assistant to take care of the issue at the capital until he feels that everything was alright with his wife and unborn baby. He sat on the driver's seat of one of his vintage cars and pressed the acceleration. He was alone leaving his guards at a markable distance.
He didn't even turned off the engine properly and entered the palace but he felt something was off.....palace felt way to calm and airy for his liking. Storm was approaching ferociously.
He stepped towards the direction of his chamber which he shared with his wife, his Rani sa. He felt someone's presence in their wing and he couldn't stop himself any further and sprinted towards his room.
As soon as he entered the room, he felt his tongue turning dry and his stomach twisted. The bed looked messy with all the bedding and pillows littered on the floor. The room looked assaulted but what bothered his was absence of his Rani sa. He was about to leave when something striked him-
" Rani sa, hum aapko ek Raaz batate hai. Agar aapko kabhi bhi Lage ki aap humare kaksh mein surakshit nhi hai tab iss disha ke ulti tarah jana....ek hare rang ka chota sa darwaza hai uske bhitar se Mahal ka sabse surakshit hissa nikalta hai. Woh darwaza aisa hai ki koi bhi jaldi uss pr apna dhayan nhi laga pta jab tak unhe uske bare mein pehle se bataya na gaya ho."
( Rani sa, let me tell you a secret. If you ever feel that you are not safe in our bed chamber then run at the opposite direction.....you will find a small green door from where you will enter inside the safest part of this palace. That door is so nicely hidden that no one can notice it if they are not informed about it before hand)He pulled out his sword and took a different corridor towards the east wing. He believed that his wife is smart and she would've thought about that door...if they hadn't reached to her before. His steps were hurried and determined.
But before he could reach the main hall, an arrow striked him on his back. Abhi could feel his skin burning and his muscles tighten and it didn't take him long to realise that he has been poisoned by that arrow. He could feel his breathing getting heavy and every vein of his body burning.
He took a deep breath and ran....ran with all his might as he knew if he didn't reached to his wife now then he wouldn't be able to see her ever again.
PRESENT
Amogh and Vikram were moving inside a dense forest as one of the loyal spy of Vikram informed him about the where about of Randhir Singh Jhala. Earlier they decided to take 50 of their best warriors but then Amogh said that he wanted it to look more like a natural death than an assassination.
They were moving very skillfully and with fluidity. They stopped at a noticeable distance from where they can see a car parked at the entrance of the cottage, they could tell that there was hardly 3 guards present. One standing outside of a room and two were guarding the cottage from outside.
' so here the plan, you go and look for that ba*tard meanwhile I am gonna deal with those jokers.' Vikram said with a noticeable playfulness in his tone. Amogh didn't said anything but nodded his head and moved towards the backyard.
Amogh entered inside the bedroom directly from the balcony without making any noise. He could see two figures sleeping in avery compromising position. He ignored the sleeping girl and pulled out a syring filled with arsenic. He skillfully pressed the needle to Randhir's major artery and waited for sometime. He was looking at his body with a psychotic smirk and anyone who looked at her would have thought that he was some psychopath.
' that's impressive boss, I didn't thought that you will end his miserable life with such neatness.' he was pulled out but an excited voice.
' shut up Vidhi!!! And care to put some clothes on but I must say that you did a wonderful job.' he said and pass an envelope full of cash to the girl sitting beside now-dead Randhir Singh Jhala.
' bas itna hi....for such a risky business and faking pleasure with this jerk.' Vidhi said tightening knots of the blanket around herself.
' check you bank account and this is the bonus' Amogh walked out without looking at her.
'OH!!!! Is Vikram here with you too?' she asked again with excitement
' how many times I've warned you to stay away from him. Vikram is not someone you can have. You are not someone her want in his life, he need someone who could heal him Vidhi. Take few days off and then report for your next assignment.' he said and jumped out of the balcony.
