ChicagoPDLeser: Could you do one where Jay is trying to protect Ben but is hit by a car. His dad is giving him a hard time instead of bring him to a hospital

Jay pov
Me and Ally were watching tv when Ben came running down the stairs.
Jay: where's the fire?
Ben: there is no fire?
Ally: it's just a saying
Ben: oh okay
Jay: what's got you in a rush?
Ben: can we go and get the Jordan 4s I was on about? They've just come out and Uncle David works at a sneaker store. He said he'll put a pair away for me. Please Jay
I turned to Ally
Jay: has he had any bad calls from school?
Ben: no I haven't I've been good
Ally: all the calls have been positive
Ben: so?
Jay: fine go get ready. We'll leave in like 15 minutes
Ben: you're the best Jay
He gave me a hug and ran upstairs.
Jay: you wanna come with?
Ally: nah you two go. I need to put laundry on and start dinner. Mom and dad are working late
Jay: you sure?
Ally: mhm
I gave her a kiss
Ben: eww seriously
Me and Ally started laughing
Jay: you ready?
Ben: yeah
Jay: say goodbye then
He gave ally a hug
Ben: bye
Ally: see you later kiddo
I gave him the keys and he went out to the car.
Ally: you okay with him? He can be a bit much
Jay: nah it'll be fine
Ally: if he misbehaves let me know
Jay: he'll be fine. He listens to me
Ally: okay
Jay: you want anything?
Ally: could you get Ben a new school bag? Mom will give you the money
Jay: okay. Any in particular?
Ally: nah just let Ben choose one
Jay: alright
I gave her a kiss and got in the car. I drove to the mall and we joined the queue for the Jordans.
??: Ben come here
I looked at Ben
Ben: that's uncle David
We went over to him and walked in the store
???: how comes he can skip the queue?
Ben flipped them off
Jay: Watch it Ben
Ben: sorry
He paid for the Jordans and we went looking for a new bag
Ben: can I get this one?
Jay: sure
it was a black north face one. We put everything in the car
Ben: Can we go to McDonalds?
Jay: sure
We walked to McDonald's and ordered our food before heading back to the car. We were at the crossing waiting for the green man to show so we could cross. The light finally turned green and we began to cross until a car came out of nowhere. I pushed Ben out the way and closed my eyes
Ben: Jay
My ears were ringing and everything went black

Ben pov
Ben: Jay
I ran to Jay. I tried to wake him up but he wouldn't wake up. I could hear sirens
Ben: Jay! Jay! Please wake up!
The paramedics arrived with the fire department. They were from firehouse 51. I saw a firefighter I knew.
Benny: Ben?
I ran over and i hugged him
Ben: Jay's hurt and it's all my fault
Benny: it's not your fault kiddo
Ben: he pushed me out the way. It should've been me
Benny: he did it to protect you. You're like his little brother. He'll do anything to protect you
Ben: Ally's gonna hate me
Benny: she won't kiddo I promise. I'm just gonna call his dad and your parents too
Benny stepped away and Jamie came over. He's a paramedic.
Jamie: Tommy's gonna have a look at Jay. Can I check you over bud?
Ben: I'm fine please Jay needs you more than I do
Jamie: you're in pain I can see it in your face
Ben: no I'm fine. It only hurts a little
Jamie: just let me have a look please
I gave him my hand and my middle and ring finger were out of place
Ben: oh my god
Jamie: I need you to keep calm okay
Ben: dizzy
Jamie: I got you

Jamie pov
Ben passed out but I caught him before he could hit the floor. I put his fingers back in place and I put it in a splint. I put him in an ambulance and went out to Tommy.
Jamie: how is he?
Tommy: bruised ribs and a concussion
??: what the fuck happened?
I looked over and it was Pat Halstead
Pat: why is my kid unconscious on the ground?
Benny: Pat Jay was hit by a car.
Jay: mmm
He sat up and looked around confused
Jay: d-dad
Pat: what the hell Jay?
Jay: I'm sorry. The car came out of nowhere
Pat: why are you so fucking stupid?
Jay: I didn't ask to be hit by a car
Pat: you're careless. You always have been. I've been called away from work. You know how important my job is
Jay: dad
Jamie: we're gonna take him in
Pat: no you're not. He's fine. Jay get your ass up
Jamie: he shouldn't move
Pat: he's fine
He pulled Jay up and Jay threw up
Jay: dad I can't. B-blurry.
Jamie: how you feeling Jay?
Jay: where's Ben?
Jamie: he's safe.
Benny: we're gonna take him to the hospital where he will be picked up
Jay: fuzzy
Jay dropped to the ground seizing
Jamie: now can we take him in?
Pat: he's just putting on a show
Benny pushed Pat
Benny: why the fuck would he do that? The longer he goes without medical attention the less likely he'll recover. Do you want to be the reason your son dies?
Ben: Jays gonna die? Why's he shaking like that? You have to help him
I pushed passed Pat and gave Jay a sedative to stop the seizure. We loaded him into the ambulance and made our way to med.

Ally pov
I had just received a call that there had been an accident. Mom and dad picked me up and we went straight to the hospital. We were taken to the waiting room and Benny came out with Ben. We gave Ben a massive hug
Mom: oh my god you're okay?
Ben: my fingers are a bit sore but I'm fine. Jay saved me
Ally: is there any news?
Benny: they rushed him into surgery
Ally: surgery?
Benny: yeah. His brain was swelling and he wasn't responding to any medication.
Ally: oh my god
Pat walked in and Benny pushed him
Benny: get out
Pat: he's my son
Benny: he's in surgery right now which may not have been needed if you didn't get in the way
Dad: what?
Benny: Pat was delaying Jay being loaded into the ambulance. He was just begging in the way
Dr Rhodes walked in.
Dr Rhodes: family of Jay Halstead?
Ally: yeah
Dr Rhodes: surgery went well. The swelling is slowly going down. We've heavily sedated him so he can heal
Ally: but he's gonna be okay?
Dr Rhodes: he's gonna be fine
