Backstory: Sapphire had a normal life on Earth. One day, she was walking home from school when she saw two kids run into the street to get their ball before a car driving out of control came out of nowhere. Just before the car could hit them, Sapphire ran into the street and pushed the kids out of the way in time. Unfortunately, the car hit her and she died. Sapphire's soul was then brought to a Judgement Room to receive judgement from a Judgement God. After looking into her life, the Judgement God gave her three choices: He can send her soul to heaven so she can live the rest of eternity there in peace, he can reincarnate her back to her world but she'll lose memories of her old life, or he can send her to a world of bloody evolution and give her powers in order to fit in. After thinking about it, Sapphire chose the third choice and requested to be a Power Ranger and form her own team in this new world. When asked what Power Rangers team she wanted to represent, she chose Dino Thunder. After the Red Dino Gem chose her and bonded with her DNA, which turned her into a Faunus, Sapphire was sent to the world called Remnant. This was the beginning of Sapphire's journey to become a huntress and the leader of the Power Rangers Dino Thunder. The new team would protect this world, fight Mesagog who has somehow returned along with those who follow him, and take down Remnant's forces of evil in a way that makes the huntsmen look like children.

Members of Power Rangers Dino Thunder: Yang Xiao Long (Blue Dino Ranger, Triceratops Faunus), Weiss Schnee (Yellow Dino Ranger, Pteranodon Faunus), Qrow Branwen (Black Dino Ranger, Brachiosaurus Faunus), and Emerald Sustrai (White Dino Ranger, Tupuxuara Faunus)

Crush: Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna, and Yang Xiao Long

Other: Sapphire's tomboy enough to wear a suit/tuxedo. She's also the leader of Team RWBYS. Like Sapphire, the rest of the Dino Gems chose the others and bonded with their DNA which turned them into Faunus. She gave a live speech about everything wrong with Remnant's society that made a huge impact on the world (She had details from Blake's speech in Volume 5). Sapphire and the others are the first team of Power Rangers with only one male member.
