Gradient bowed before Queen Vigilance, "M-My queen, how may I h-help you?" Gradient nervously said, Vigilance looked down upon him and said, "I wish to know if the rumors of your animus blood are true?" Gradient nervously nodded and said, "Y-Yes, Queen Vigilance, my father was an animus."
Vigilance looked down at Gradient with slight interest now, making him feel like he was going to melt into a simple puddle, "Um... Oh um... Queen Vigilance, I-I made a painting f-for you." Gradient took out a small painting of Vigilance out of his pouch.
Vigilance took the painting from Gradient and looked at it before saying, "You are quite good, although now that I am aware you have animus blood I must request you live in the castle, for your own protection of course." Gradient smiled nervously and said, "Oh um thank you Q-Queen Vigilance-"
He was then cut off by Vigilance, "Don't thank me so soon, as I need you to make paintings for me as payment for my protection and living here." Gradient nodded and said, "O-Ok Queen Vigilance, I'll go tell Silver we're movin-" he was cut off again by Vigilance, "I'm sorry to inform you but I can not allow him to live here for his relationship with Stonecrusher may hinder whatever work I have for him."
Gradient nodded and said, "Oh... Um, Ok, I'll have to of c-course get my stuff before I leave and um... Tell Silver good bye." Queen Vigilance nodded and said, "Very well, I hope you don't get too lonely without him."
Gradient then bowed again before leaving, he felt himself brightly blushing as he slowly left. Gradient was both excited and nervous as he was about to live in the castle but he also might not see Silver as much as usual.
