CHAPTER 24

I know at this time, he feels more empty because our princess is the happiness of this home. I can somehow see the vulnerability in his eyes which he keeps hiding from the world.
I know he is trusting both of his sons with the happiness of this mansion and it is very tough for him but we will protect her always more than our lives.

I don't know how to comfort dad or how to reassure him because this can only be done by his princess. I am not very good at words but I am good at reading his emotions, the way his eyes speak, they tell everything to me. I know he is always in a fix between his princess who he gave birth to and his mother who gave birth to him.
He cannot even do anything but tries his best to protect his princess. I wish to be like him, like my dad, my hero.

Chain of my thoughts broke when princess came downdown, she had worn an oversized t shirt which belongs to Aashu and her shorts.......... Waittt!!! She is going to college like that........ Ahhhhhh, not this.

She came towards dad with a grumpy face and he chuckled.
He took her in his lap and she just hugged him.
"Are you going to college like this? " Aashu asked princess with soft voice.
"Yes, do you have some problem", she replied not very gently.

She shouldn't speak like that..... But it's not her fault, I can't even scold, she is in so much pain already.
Aashu looked at me for her help and I just sighed.
" Princess actually it's not very appropriate for college ", I tried to make her understand but she made a crying face and complained to dad
"Dadda look at him, he is saying I don't look good in this", she compained and dad laughed but he immediately stopped when he saw her angry glare.

He glared towards us and spoke "don't listen to these brats princess, u look good in everything u wear", he said and she immediately pecked his cheeks.

This girlllllll, now no one can do anything!!!

Dad picked her up saying " Let get your tummy filled princess ", and she just hid her face in his chest.
He took her to dining table and she spoke" Dadda I am not hungry right now", but Dad didn't spoke anything just pecked her forehead.

"Princess you can have some doughnuts, they are your favourites", he spoke and she just nodded.

Mom looked at them and smiled.Me and Aashu went towards her and kissed her forehead. We all settled on our seats and princess was in dad's lap which is one of the special treatments she receives when she is on her periods.

We were waiting for dadi and she arrived. She looked at princess and said "what is wrong with you girl, you are 17 , get off your father's lap", she said in a condensing voice and  princess spoke, 'This is my father's lap and I can sit whenever I want , you are no one to decide that ".

Before another argument takes place , dad spoke"Let it be mom, please".
He said and dadi sat on her chair with an unhappy look.

" Dadda I want to eat chocolate doughnuts ", princess spoke just to annoy dadi. Ohhh....... God this girllll!!!!

Dad looked at her and picked up the doughnuts and started feeding her.
" Don't you think she is a little too big to be fed by you"Dadi asked dad in a condensing voice.
"No mom, my princess will always remain my little girl", Dad calmly said to  dadi and princess just giggled...... I guess she is enjoying a little too much..... I need to do something before a fight starts.

" Aashu you said you had to leave early today, didn't you? "I said to Aashu and he frowned but after seeing my face he understood and spoke ,Aashu said to dad and dad spoke" Drive carefully and take care of my princess ", he said to Aashu in serious voice.

Aashu nodded and princess pecked everyone's cheeks accept dad, hugged dad and was going with Aashu but I stopped her midway and took her to living room.

" Princess listen baby, I know you are annoyed and I am sorry for that but baby please just behave yourself , don't behave too bratty with Aashu and don't hang around boys or else I won't be able to handle the situation ", I told her very softly .

she looked at me with her big doe eyes and spoke " I am also trying to cope with you guys and I have no interest to hang around boys so don't be worried ", she spoke in her"not in mood " tone and I understood her.

I pecked her forehead and she gave me a smile and was going but came running back and hugged me saying "Bhaiya sorry, I love you more than anything",she said in her cutest baby voice and my heart melted.........i kissed her nose and replied" It okay bacha, I understand".

Then I bid her bye and she went with Aashu.

ASHISH YADAV'S POV

I took princess with me to our car and opened the door for her, she sat on passenger seat and I buckled her seatbelt then sat on driving seat.

I started driving and princess started playing music. It wasn't a soft one it was loud. She was listening a song called "Kudi nu nachne do".she was vibing in full mood and I was happy to see her like that usually she cries a lot during her periods.

Sson we reached university, I got off the car and helped princess get off. I was holding her hand gently which probably must be annoying her but I can't help this.

As we entered the building, she held my hand tightly probably anxious of the crowd. I escorted her to her class and told her"Princess I know today you are in no mood to repeat the rules, it's okay just remember them and follow them"I said to her while kissing her forehead and she just nodded.

"Ruhu it's you exam in this period, so best of luck I'll be there waiting for you before the next period starts and if you have some problem don't hesitate to tell the teacher or come to me", I added and she nodded again.

She looked at my hands which were holding hers and tears filled her eyes and I panicked.
"Princess are you okay, why are you crying" I said while kneeling to her level and she spoke "Bhaiyu don't leave me ever, I don't want you to go", she said her voice cracking at end and I sighed.

I held her both hands and spoke softly " Princess I am not leaving you ever, even if you want me to, so don't cry my fairy I am right here if you need me just call my name, I am waiting for you right here so give your best and make all of us proud like you always do"I said and she nodded.
I kissed her forehead and then her whole face and she giggled making me smile. She waved bye to me and entered her classroom taking my smile with her......
