HER BROTHERS

CHAPTER 29

Many people out there (especially fathers and brothers)  think, protecting their daughter or sister is the only thing that they need to do, a big no, u have to be there for her whenever she needs u, u have to comfort her and to be there when she is having those mental breakdowns or crazy mood swings. She needs u more than she needs your protection.

I was thinking all of this while both my brothers were on my side, both of them sitting beside me and adoring me.

"Princess u won't leave us right", out of blue, Aashu bhaiyu asked this question making me shocked.

I looked at him with my doe eyes and spoke " Bhaiyu I won't be able to live without u both and I know u won't let anyone take me away, we will be together forever ", I said while taking both of my brothers in a side hug which I wasn't capable of doing but these two took me in a hug and I smiled widely.

" Forever princess, you'll be with us forever ",Nishi bhaiya spoke while kissing my forehead.

I don't really know what my brothere are going through, they are good at hiding everything but I can clearly see the worry in their eyes for me.
I can clearly see the fear in their eyes when it comes to me, their insecurity towards me...... I seek assurance from then everytime I am insecure and now I also want them to happy.

To change to mood I said"Bhaiya ice cream please ", and they both looked at me.
" Princess no baby, it is your first day", Bhaiya said softly but I was craving for it.
"Bhaiya please not today, I really want it", I pleaded again and this time Aashu bhaiyu spoke softly" Princess, it's just for today, tomorrow u can have it", he said but I pleaded again and he softly tried to make me understand again"princess it's your first day, baby if you will eat cold it will hurt a lot".

He said trying to convince but I didn't listen and pouted.
"Let's go home", Aahu bhaiyu said before I could say anything else.
He picked me up and sat in the car before I could even whine.
We reached the mansion and I was angrily still sitting on bhaiyu's lap.

He didn't say anything and took me inside and placed me on couch.
"Princess go and change baby, it is time", Bhaiya said softly and I went towards my room.

NISHCHAY YADAV'S POV
" Take care of this little brat, I am going to meet dad"Aashu informed me before leaving for office.

I sat on couch and started scrolling through my phone. After half an hour, princess came down stairs and sat beside me. I looked at her and she showed me her best puppy eyes.
"Please bhaiyu, I really want it", she said trying to convince me.
She knows her periods are my weak points, I don't say anything to her during periods that is why  she is trying to persuade me.

I took her in my lap and spoke" Quite clever, aren't we princess ".
She looked over at me with her puppy eyes and I melted.
" Just one scoop and don't tell your Aashu bhaiyu or I will also be punished with you", I said and she nodded like a child making me chuckle.

I got up taking her in my arms, we went towards kitchen. I made her sit on counter then gave her, her ice cream and took some for me.
We were enjoying her ice cream just then one of my guards informed that Pranav, Aakash and Divyansh are here.

"Princess u enjoy your ice cream, I am coming in a bit", I said to the little girl who was busy eating her ice cream.

I pecked her forehead before heading towards living room.

" Bhaiya-"Pranav said upon spotting me and immediately came to hug me.
He is Aashu's best friend and a brother to princess. He is just like Aashu to me.
I patted his back and he spoke in dramatic voice"Bhaiya I missed you more than anything", he said and I chuckled.

Before I could reply, someone cleared their throat, I looked behind to see Aakash and Divyansh.

"Where is my cupcake",Pranav asked me and I replied" In the kitchen", I said and he nodded.

"I also want  cupcake"Pranav's brother asked and we both widened our eyes.

"He meant princess", I said clearing their doubts and Aakash mumbled " I don't mind that", he said in low voice.
"I do", I said sternly, he choked on air while his best friend,Divyansh patted his back.

Before any further conversation could take place, a loud thud sound was heard and I ran towards kitchen followed by Pranav.

I looked at princess sitting on the counter, pouting but the only thing that was going on in my mind was her being safe.
I immediately embraced her and she said sadly"Sorry bhaiya I broke your favourite mug", she said making a sad face and looking down.

I made her look at me and spoke "shh princess these things don't even matter to me and you mean the world to me so stop apologizing, you deserve the world".

I said and she just nodded still in my embrace. I felt scared...to let her go but as soon as she spotted Pranav she wiggled to get out of my grip and immediately jumped from the counter and our eyes widened....... The helll!!!! There are literally broken pieces of mug what if she gets hurt but before anything like this could happen she was saved by DIVYANSH.

I could see how he was holding her so that she does not fall. He carefully placed her on ground and then just glared at her while I turned her around facing me.

Pranav knowing what is going to happen stood between me and her......

DIVYANSH'S POV
After hearing the loud sound, everyone ran towards kitchen and found a broken mug in floor while that girlll..... Ruhi was sitting on counter.
As soon as Nishchay bhaiya found her safe, he hugged her still processing the situation. She apologized for her mistake and just then she spotted Pranav bhaiya and jumped off the counter.
Due to my reflexes, I was fast enough to catch her or I don't know what would have happened.

I also felt strange fear in my heart which was mirrored by Nishchay bhaiya. I could see the same fear in his eyes!!!!!!

I glared at her but didn't speak anything while Nishchay bhaiya turned her around facing him. Before anything could happen, Pranav bhaiya stood between her and bhaiya or else I don't know what could have happened.
I can see bhaiya's knuckles turning white and how he was just controlling his anger.

"All three of you, go to living room and complete your project",Pranav bhaiya said in the voice which left no room for arguments.

" But bhaiyu-"she was cut off by Pranav bhaiya's voice "Princess now", he said and we three left to living room.
She was continuously looking down while Aaksh was giving me strange looks.

" It's okay, it is not even a big deal ", Aakash said in order to comforr her but I glared at him and then her, saying" It is a big deal, she could have gotten hurt by those pieces ", I said in stern voice and she looked at me with those doe tearful eyes.....oh god!!!!! Why do these eyes effect me so much!!!!

Before she starts crying I said" Look don't cry little girl, it was your fault u should apologize to bhaiya", I said and she nodded.
Suddenly she shouted"I told you I am not little ", she said making me and Akash chuckle at same time.

This time Aakash spoke" Yeah we can see", he said smiling.

We three sat on couch and started our  respective works. Everyone was quite focused and I could see myself stealing glances at her which I know is not right..... So I scolded myself and went back to doing my work.
