Michelle's POV

No one has ever cared for me like this before. Not my parents, and definitely not my ex.

"You've ordered the entire menu. Not even the four of us on the table combined can possibly eat all that."

"Well, don't worry about the things you can't eat and try to eat as much as you possibly can, is that okay Angel?"

"But still -"

"Angel, let me worry about that all right?"

"Promise me, it won't go to waste."

I held up my hand showing my pinkie finger and then realised he's a full-grown man, who doesn't need to be treated like a five-year-old. He drops his head and chuckles to himself quietly, grabbing the same hand I dropped back into my lap, and kissed my pinkie. "I promise, whatever you want."

Fuck me. He made a promise like that without breaking eye contact, and it's kinda scary. Not like in a bad way, of course, but I have a gut feeling if I ask the man sitting beside me to give me the moon, he'll somehow in someway find a way to give it. This is all a girl wants from her Mr. Right. Mr. Right? What the hell is in this food? Where are these thoughts even coming from? I need to remember I have met this man today, so I need to keep my panties on. I've already had a make out session, I don't need things to go along any faster than they already are.

Samuel cleared his throat, breaking off the trance Cole had me in. "If you want us to leave, just say the word."

"Leave." Cole growled? I don't exactly know if that even is the right word for it. Whatever it was, it was hot as fuck, and at this point, I'm going to end up home with my panties completely soaked.

I ended up giggling a bit, because of Cole's erratic behaviour. Raphael also was laughing with me and Samuel just shook his head, which tells me this kind of behaviour/banter is normal between the gentlemen.

"Knock it off, Cole." No matter if it's a inside joke, I didn't want anyone to be feeling uncomfortable. I freed my wrist on which he had a grip on since the kiss before and then lightly hit his chest with the back of my palm and placed it onto the table. The moment I did that though, Cole grabbed my hand again but this time the grip was a bit stronger than before.

"Sorry, Angel."

"It's only the first day and you've made him apologise that too to Samuel." Raphael spoke up looking at me. Then his gaze fixed onto Cole. "You're already wrapped around her finger. How cute!"

Cole looked away the other side of me, like he's trying to control his actions and words, whereas Samuel picked up the cues, looked at his boyfriend and was beginning to explain (sounded like a lecture) to him how he shouldn't be provoking Cole, which began an argument between the two men infront of me.

Both men were complete opposites in general so something like an argument, as expected, was bound to be entertaining, so like any girl would I decided to watch the drama unfold before me (literally). It proceeded for approximately a minute before Cole intervened, slamming his fist on the table we were sat at and shut both men up.

"Fight like cats and dogs somewhere else, not here. And if you wanna carry on, go ahead, but OUTSIDE." Hearing his tone, got me real worried there for a minute, because I know for a fact, if that man uses that tone on me whilst looking at me like he wants to murder me, I'd just burst into tears right then and there.

As soon as Cole said that a waitress had two plates in her hand, with a few more people with different dishes in their hand behind her. The waiter who came first started talking, "Here you go ma'am." She placed a small bowl of salad in front of me. "For you."

Everyone at the table and the staff present went quiet. I could feel embarrassment run through me showing itself to others by my neck and cheeks becoming visibly red. I put my head slightly down refusing to meet anyone's eye. I know I haven't got the body of a model but still the fact that I'm not the first nor will I be the last woman to hear something like this, disappoints me even more.

The waiter takes a step back, "Enjoy." She turns to leave when Cole speaks.

"Stop." Everyone, including me, looks at him. "Thank you all so much for the food, but you can all leave, expect for you. Stay." He was talking to the staff as a whole but was referring the stay back comment to the woman who was basically giving me a hint. Cole stood up and oh my god, did that stupid waiter looked like a mouse compared to Cole's huge frame.

"Care to explain?" Cole asked like he was giving a chance before all hell broke loose. The way he's so calm has me worried though. And right now, a lot of people are not focused on their own food anymore, but the conversation happening in front of me. The waitress at this point realising what she's done started stuttering and I don't blame her, I'd be too in front of this giant.

"Sorry, I didn't mean anything by it, it was the only place to put that bowl and I was only telling her, you know enjoy the food. I didn't mean anything by it, honestly, it was a just an honest mistake. I'm sorry." She looks at me. "I'm really sorry, please don't think of it like me suggesting certain things."

It was honestly crystal clear she knew what she was doing. It was no mistake. You could tell by the look on her face. That stupid grin she gave when placing the bowl down. She knew what she was doing, and I think I know why. The reason is standing right in front of her, and this spark of jealousy hits me straight in the gut. She wanted to make me feel small showing me as if someone like him cannot be with me. She wanted him for herself, as though this bitch had a chance. Wait. Why am I jealous?
