Chapter 9: Fighting Yukiko bird

*3rd pov*

The group enters to see Shadow Yukiko with a big floating horse and knight. "*chuckle* My Prince wouldn't lose to guards such as this, correct?" Shadow Yukiko smirks at them. "Gyaaaaaah! I've never seen such a strong one before! I-It's attacking us!" Teddie shouts as they engage into the battle.

It took time, but the group manage to defeat the Shadow. "*chuckle* If you really are my Prince, then we will surely meet again. I am but a trapped soul... I cannot leave this place even if I wished... *chuckle*" Shadow Yukiko leaves the floor. "I don't sense her anymore... Oh! Are you okay, Sensei? I'm sure we've got a long ways to go. Don't push yourself too hard! If you're tired, you should head back!" Teddie adviced. The group roam around for a little as they find a treasure chest that has a key which led them back to a locked door. Yu use the key and unlock the door too see the stairs, "I found the stairs! Let's move on!" Yosuke shouts and they run up the stairs.

"In other words, she's a manager who's still in high school. Now that has a nice ring to it... Let's see if we can interview her. Excuse me!" A reporter's voice calls out.

"Shut up!" Yukiko shouts.

"H-Hey, Yukiko-san. Mind if I ask you something...? Is it true that announcer's staying at your family's inn?" A male student questions.

"Shut up, shut up!" Yukiko keeps shouting.

"Someday, though... That aside, wow! You're looking gorgeous in that kimono. You must have a lot of male visitors." A reporter said.

"Leave me alone! I'm sick of it..." Yukiko confesses.

"I don't get what's going on with all those voices, but I can sense that we're getting closer. Hang in there!" Teddie shouts and the group persuits the floor. No sign of Yukiko on the sixth floor, so they found the door that leads to the other floor and run up.

"Hasn't my Prince come yet? My dear Prince... Please hurry and take me away! Somewhere... To a world no one knows me..." Yukiko said. "It's close! She's just beyond here!" Teddie informs them as the gourp roam the seventh floor to see find another set of stairs to see a giant door. "Huh? This smell is... It must be her! She's right behind this door!" Teddie confirms. Yu opens the door and they all head inside to see Shadow Yukiko standing on the throne and Yukiko on her knees below the stairs.

"Yukiko!" Chie shouts as the group runs in to see them. "I knew it... There's two of her!" Yosuke shouts. "Oh? Oooooh, what's this? Three princes are here to see me!? My my! Are you the surprice guests who came in late? Awwwww... I wish I'd gotten a better look at you!" Shadow Yukiko steps forward, "My, it's getting crowded here. Why don't you and I go somewhere else...? A land far, far away, where no one knows me. If you're my Prince, you'd take me there, won't you? C'mon... pretty please?" Shadow Yukiko tell her 'Prince' among the group. "Oooh. Is this 'scoring a hot stud'!?" Teddie understood what Shadow Yukiko meant.

"Four princes...? Wait, does that include me and (Y/n), too...?" Chie asked. "Duh! The third one's gotta be me! My lady would make a fine prince though!" Teddie said. "I seriously doubt that..." Yosuke denied Teddie being a prince. "I think she's talking about Chie." (Y/n) said. "Chie... *chuckle* Yes, she's my Prince..." Shadow Yukiko confirmed which shocked the group. "She always leads the way... Chie's a strong prince... Or at least, she WAS." Shadow Yukiko said. "Was...?" Chie is confused. "When it comes down to it, Chie's just not good enough! She's can't take me away from here! She can't save me!" Shadow Yukiko shouts. "Yukiko..." Chie looks sad. "(Y/n) has always been there for me. She understood how I felt and she tried to take me away from here! She should've been my prince!" Shadow Yukiko shouts. "She's talking about when I offer to take her with me on a trip out of the town last summer." (Y/n) said as the group looked at her. "She couldn't go because her mother didn't want her to and the Inn." (Y/n) explained with a sad look. "(Y/n)..." Chie looks at her.
