The next day...
Troy's apartment
2 am
Simone was trying to get water to drink when Asher joined her in the kitchen.
Simone: Good morning Asher.
Asher: Good morning. Why are you up this early?
Simone: Nothing, I am okay.
Asher: Simone, are you sure? This is not the first time, i wake up around this time and find you in the kitchen.
Simone: (sighs) I am having trouble sleeping.
Asher: (smiles) Obviously. Do you want to talk about it?
Simone: Hmmm, which other friends does Troy have in this school asides from you, Fred, Chris, Spencer and Jordan? I mean, ever since he asked me to move in with him, he barely sleeps here. He is always falling asleep at his friend's house and coming the next day.
Asher: (looks at her) Honestly, I wouldn't know. Chris will be in a better position to answer. I don't really hangout with them all the time. You should ask Chris or Fred. But you shouldn't let that bother you.
Simone: Oh okay. Thank you. (she sighs and attempts to leave.
Asher: Simone
Simone: (looks back) You called me.
Asher: You deserve better.
Simone: (smiles) Thank you.
Girl's hostel
Olivia's room
Olivia talking to Spencer on the phone.
Spencer: Are you set?
Olivia: No, I would be going in the evening, so will probably sleep over and get back to school tomorrow. Hopefully, things go well.
Spencer: Be positive. It can't be that bad. You will be fine.
Olivia: Yea, I hope so. Where are you?
Spencer: Just getting to the gym.
Olivia: Oh, let me allow you get some work done then. Text me when you're done.
Spencer: Sure. Bye.
Olivia: Bye. (she ends the call)
After speaking with Spencer, she went to the sitting room to join Kia and Davita, who were both watching TV.
Davita: Babe, when do you leave?
Olivia: I just figure I will go in the evening.
Kia: You really don't want to spend time with family at all, huh?(she laughs)
Olivia: I am just trying to prepare myself enough. (she laughs)
The doorbell rings, Davita went to open...
Davita: Look who we have here, Simone Hicks (they both hugged each other) Come in, girl.
Simone entered, and the girls exchanged greetings
Kia: I am glad you came. Miss you.
Olivia: It is like we barely see you on campus these days. But you are here now that is what matters.
Davita: You don't look happy. How is Troy?
Simone: He is good (she wears a fake smile) We are both good.
