"A brother's love is a shield, but when that shield is broken, the wrath that follows will be the storm that rages until honor is restored."
ΠΠΠΠLucio burst into the living room like a tempest, his fists flying with a ferocity that sent Tristian crashing to the ground. The normally composed Lucio had lost all semblance of control, his eyes blazing with a dark, unbridled fury that seemed to consume him whole. Another punch was hurled, barely missed Tristian's face, as Lucio's brothers, Ricardo and Leonardo, struggled to restrain him.
Lucio's body trembled, his veins pulsating with rage, as he unleashed a torrent of venomous words, "HOW DARE YOU! HOW COULD YOU BE SO SELFISH AND UNREASONABLE? YOU ARE DISGUSTING!" His voice rose to a deafening crescendo, echoing off the walls as he screamed, "She gave you everything! Her dignity, her pride! Her heart, she loved you in body and soul! What the fuck did she get in return, ha? YOU FUCKING THAT BITCH OF A WHORE!"
The room fell silent, the only sound Lucio's ragged breathing, his chest heaving as if someone was forcing him to swallow thousands of pins. His tone suddenly shifted, a deceptively calm façade masking the turmoil beneath, "What does she have that my sister doesn't? Is it power? Strength? Beauty? Character? Humbleness or Fucking pussy? Does my spitfire not make you feel like a man?"
Ricardo and Leonardo exchanged uneasy glances, wary of Lucio's unsettling calmness. They had never seen him like this, not even when Scarlett died. This anger was a force unto itself, a maelstrom that threatened to consume them all.
Lucio's voice thundered through the room, a tempest of emotions unleashed upon Tristian. "She confessed to me that every day without you is a struggle to survive. The mere thought of you returning to your ex-wife is a poison that corrodes her soul. For the first time in her existence, my sister surrendered her defenses, her voice barely above a whisper, admitting she cannot breathe without the love of her life. SHE NEEDS YOU TO BREATHE, YOU SELFISH BASTARD!"
Tristian's body stiffened, his vision blurring with unshed tears, as if the weight of Lucio's words was crushing him. He didn't deserve to cry, not after what he had done. As Tristian stood amidst the ruins of his secrets, his eyes cast downward in shame, the weight of his betrayal threatened to consume him whole, his mind echoing with the haunting truth: "I have failed her, I have failed us, I have failed myself."
Lucio's fury didn't abate, his words pouring out like a torrent. "My spitfire, always questioning, always doubting, from childhood to adulthood, she scrutinized every step, every decision, every man who claimed to love her... BUT NEVER YOU. She trusted you implicitly, without reservation, without question. And this is how you repay her?"
Tristian's heart, once full of love and devotion, now felt like a heavy burden, weighed down by the crushing guilt of his infidelity, each beat a painful reminder of the trust he had shattered and the love he had betrayed.
Ricardo and Leonardo exchanged worried glances, concerned that Lucio's asthma might flare up with the intensity of his emotions. "Calm down, brother," Leonardo urged, gently rubbing Lucio's back.
Lucio's response was a low, strained growl. "I. Am. Fucking. Calm." His chest heaved, his breathing labored, as his brothers released a collective sigh, relieved that the storm seemed to be passing.
An oppressive silence descended upon the room, a heavy stillness that lasted for ten agonizing minutes. The weight of Lucio's words hung in the air, a palpable force that left everyone breathless. The family's initial joy and trust in Tristian's union with Scarlett had blinded them to the reality of their marriage - a love that had grown after vows, not before. They had trusted Tristian to cherish and protect Scarlett, never imagining that Lysanderia's arrival would shatter their world.
