The sky crackled with energy as Ben, now transformed into a Saiyan God, faced off against Beerus. The air was thick with tension, a palpable silence before the storm. The partygoers had retreated to a safe distance, their eyes wide with a mix of awe and apprehension. Beerus floated effortlessly, his arms crossed, a small smirk playing on his lips.
"Let's see what this Saiyan God can do," Beerus said, his voice carrying a tone of casual interest.
Ben's aura flared, the red energy swirling around him like a tempest. He clenched his fists, feeling the power surging through his veins. With a burst of speed, he launched himself at Beerus, fist cocked back for a powerful punch. Beerus didn't move, his eyes watching Ben's approach with unblinking calm.
Ben's punch connected, but it was like hitting a wall of steel. Beerus barely flinched, his smirk widening. Ben recoiled, landing gracefully a few feet away, his eyes narrowing. He knew Beerus was powerful, but the casual ease with which he had blocked the attack was unsettling.
"Not bad," Beerus said, finally moving. He raised a hand, gesturing for Ben to come at him again. "But you'll have to do better than that."
Gritting his teeth, Ben launched another assault, his movements a blur as he struck at Beerus from every angle. Punches, kicks, and energy blasts--all met with the same effortless defense. Beerus moved with a grace that belied his power, each counter a precise and measured response.
Ben leaped back, breathing heavily. He could feel the strain of maintaining the Saiyan God form, but he wasn't about to give up. Not now. He focused, summoning more energy, his aura flaring brighter.
Beerus raised an eyebrow. "Impressive. But power alone won't be enough."
With a roar, Ben charged again, this time unleashing a barrage of ki blasts. The sky lit up with the intensity of the attack, each blast a streak of red light. Beerus danced around them, his movements fluid and almost playful. He closed the distance in an instant, his hand shooting out to grab Ben by the throat.
"You're fast," Beerus said, lifting Ben effortlessly. "But not fast enough."
With a flick of his wrist, he sent Ben crashing into the ground. The impact created a crater, dust and debris flying everywhere. Ben struggled to his feet, his vision swimming. He hadn't expected Beerus to be this strong, even while holding back.
But he wasn't done yet. He couldn't be. Gathering his remaining strength, Ben summoned a massive energy ball, the red sphere crackling with raw power. He hurled it at Beerus, the ground shaking from the force of the attack.
Beerus watched the approaching attack with mild interest. Just as the energy ball was about to hit, he raised a finger, and with a simple flick, deflected it into the sky. The explosion lit up the heavens, but Beerus remained unfazed.
"Is that all?" Beerus asked, his tone almost bored.
Ben's frustration boiled over. He charged again, pushing his body to its limits. Each strike was more desperate, each movement more frantic. But Beerus was a step ahead, his counters precise and devastating. A kick sent Ben sprawling, a punch left him gasping for air.
