Amir
Some time has passed with Christmas and the New Years coming up. My son recently just turned three last week. Things were going okay besides still not hearing a word from Sierra. He always asks me where she is and I tell him that she's away. Every time I tell him that he cries and says that he misses her.
On weeks, I've been on edge with me having a feeling that somebody is watching my every move. I'm constantly looking over my shoulder when out somewhere and even started sleeping with a gun underneath my pillow.
Since shit is getting real, I have no choice but to pack up Syncere's things and send him to stay with Amani for a few days to keep him safe. It hurt to leave him at a time like this but it's for his safety. I don't want him to think that I'm abandoning him or anything. As soon as all this is over, I'm taking him back.
I sat in my car, camping outside the trap to see what all Ace is doing. He was standing on the stoop of the trap, discussing some things with Notorious with Gee present at his side.
My hand pulled my chin hair as I watched their every move observantly. This what I've been doing for a minute now ever since we all came together for that plan.
It took a lot of strings to pull but I manage to get into contact with both Trill and that girl Dani. They wanted me to give them $1 million in cash in person at their spot so they could help me out.
I smirked to myself, thinking about how everything is going according to plan.
Suddenly my phone starts to ring. I picked it up and flipped it open to see that it's just Rylos calling me. Smiling to myself, I answered. "Hey, pa. You missed me?"
I hear him smack his teeth but he answers. "Yeah, I do. When can I come see you? It's been a while since I last saw you. And why haven't you been calling me?"
I laughed a little seeing how much he misses me. It turned from him once ignoring my calls to now being the one calling me. "My bad, I been busy. I can come over tonight if you want."
"Mhm, see you tonight then," he quickly says before hanging up.
Taking one more glance at the brothers, I put the car into drive before pulling off.
I knocked on Rylos' door and took a step back, waiting patiently. A few moments later, the door swings open and I'm met with Rylos.
He wants to pretend like he ain't happy to see me and shit. Smiling, I wrap my arms around his waist. "Hey, pa."
He lightly push me away and goes to shut the door behind me. "Why did I have to be the one to call you? You haven't been coming over and barely answering my texts. What's going on with you?"
"Damn, that's how you first greet me? You ain't happy to see your boyfriend."
Regardless of my smile, he still looked annoyed. "Of course I am, Amir, but answer my questions."
I start to walk to his living room with him following right behind me. "I told you, a lot just has been going on. I just want to keep you and Syncere safe. I feel like everybody is after me."
Me saying this made him start to get worried. I know he's afraid of me putting him in danger again but I'm not going to let it happen this time. "Who is 'everybody'? If there's something going on you need to let me know."
"Rylos, I want you to listen very carefully," I began.
Rylos nods his head. "Yes, Amir?"
"You sticking with me all the way? If not then—"
