Chapter 12- Anya

I heard Lia laugh so I turned to her and raised my brow
"Nothing, I just remembered the question once teacher asked us about what do you want to do when you grow up"
"Ahh, our sections were divided that day I guess, Ari and I were in same class, you and Sophi were in one class"
"Yeah, did they ask you the same question too? What did you answer? I am sure you said you dreamed of becoming something? You remember Annie you said you wanted to be an astronaut and when me and Sophia asked why you never answered, did you say it to Ari?"

My thoughts trailed back to that day, was I silly? Or maybe impulsive?

"so today we will discuss about what do you guys dreams to be in future. Okay kids?"
My teacher who was also known as mother teacher, like for 30 students a mother teacher, as in a mentor was selected, me and Ari had same mentor.

"Yesss teacher"
All the students shouted in unison
Most of the boys said they wanted to become "superhero", "doctor" and girls said "fairy", "princess"

"I haven't decided yet but I guess I would opt to business and succeeded my dad or just write some good stories"
Ariella said thinking for a bit and shrugged her shoulders
"Thats a good dream you have Ariella, impressive"

"Anna Williams, what about you dear?"
"I tell you what, I want to become an astronaut"
"Why Anna do you wanna go to the moon?"
She asked with smile and I shook my head trying to control the tears from spilling down

"I wanna go to the stars you know"
"But why?"
She asked softly as I heard few snickering sounds from behind

"For that you have to be rich"
"You can't since you don't have money"
"She can't even speak properly, she wants to go to stars, she doesn't know we can go to moon but not stars"

The laughs and comments stopped as a metal bottle fell down making a huge sound., I turn to see Ariella who picked the bottle from the ground, her eyes met mine and she showed me a thumbs up.
She is not that bad, she just lacks how to accept and express.
"Silence Class"
My teacher said and she turned to me and asked again

"You wanna get stars for someone Anna?"
"I want to bring back my Mama Papa from there, Aunt told me that they have became a stars in the sky, but.."

I gulped hard as tears threathend to fall from my eyes
"but I miss Mama Papa, and when I will go there, I will promise them not to fight anymore, I will say that I will learn how to speak properly without mixing up words, one day, you know I will surely bring them back, believe it"
I said raising my fist in determination, my teacher was about to pat my head, my eyes widened with the fear of being touched and I leaned back.

"Oh you poor thing, I am sorry for your loss dear"

"Mam me and Annie didn't have our lunch, I am going to eat now can I take her with me"
Ariella asked before the teacher can touch my head to pat me.
"Sure Ariella, but don't skip lunch from next time"
I sigh with relief and Ari pulled me with herself and handed me a box to eat in the other room.

"Annie, where are you lost?"
"Ahh, its nothing, I think I still wanna be an astronaut if possible to fulfill that dream I had but I have grown up from that"
I said chuckling, she looked confused but let it be.

Its already pretty late, me and Lia walked back to the house and I decided with packing up.
Just as I am about to enter my eyes fell on some black cars and the security gaurds.

I ran inside as Lia followed me quickly, I pulled my dagger out ready to throw it at anyone.

"Ma, Pa-"
"Oh Annie you are back"
She said and My uncle forwarded his hand to me which I held it without any hesitation, my eyes met with Captain Jerk's and I look at him smirking at me.
I see Captain and his whole family with two other people, definitely 'she monsters' parents.
