The family that she finally deserved

After Bella telling us she didn't want any breakfast Less and I decided to leave that situation for another day, we asked Bella to go and get changed and I wasn't expecting her to go all out, but a part of me loved it. She was becoming more confident and comfortable around us and that is the main thing.
Less and I had talked a bit last night about wanting to get Bella back into a football club, we had offered her and Mia the opportunity to try for Arsenal academy but after finding out she hadn't played in a club for a few months we wanted to see if she wanted to have some more practice before Tuesday when the trials where, now was the perfect time we had a couple hours before the house visit.
Bella had gone to sit in the living room and watch some tv so Less and I went over a decided to ask her if she wanted to play for a bit
"Hey bells" Alessia said
"Hi"
"Now Bella less and I are wondering if you would like to go and play some football? You know have some fun and practice before Tuesday?"
"With you?" She asked
"Yes if you want"
"Yes, yes please!" She said now sounding excited
"Right but first we have to stop on the way" less said, we have one little surprise
"Okay"

We all got in the car and we drove Bella to a sports shop, she didn't know we were taking her there but her face lit up as soon as she realised where we were

"My mum used to bring me here all the time!" She said
"Really"
"Yes she brought me here when I had done well in school and stuff"
"Well shall we head in?" Alessia said

We all jumped out the car and headed inside the sports shop

"Okay Bella, right you can get anything you want, but you do need to get some things we want you to get okay but then you can go wild after that!" I said
"Okay!" Her face was full of excitement
"Right Bella we want you to get" football boots for Artificial, Soft and Hard ground, shin pads, a kit bag, 3 pairs of shorts, 3 training tops, and I think that's it" Alessia said
"Wait. You want to get me 3 pairs of boots?!" She said whilst not believing us
"Yes and anything else you want"
"Your acting like I am your daughter who had made the academy"
"Well one day you never know" Alessia said pulling her in for a quick hug "now go get some clothes!"
Bella was off after that, Less and I couldn't keep up, we were dragging 2 small shopping trollies behind us and Bella was darting from one side of the shop to the other
"Right I am finished" the young girl said after around 20 minutes of shopping
"Perfect you have quite the stash now!" I said
"Wait one more thing!" She said running to the left side of the shop whilst Less and I waited in the cue "here" she said placing two arsenal shirts in either basket, 'Russo' and 'Williamson" shirts
"You just had too didn't you" Alessia said laughing
"Yep, because then when we play I can wear them like this" she said putting the 'Russo' shirt on first and then the 'Williamson' shirt on second "cause then you see it's your surnames, Williamson - Russo" she said looking pleased with her self
"Ahhh, very clever" I said

We headed to the checkouts and it took a while to get everything scanned through and after spending £906.23, we were all shopped out and headed out in a line with shopping bags falling off all 3 of our arms

"Right that just about fits" I said squishing the last bag into the boot
"Thank you so so much" Bella said for like the 40th time
"Your welcome Bells" Alessia said

We drove to the local pitch and told Bella to get changed in the back of the car, and like she had demonstrated in the shop she was wearing both shirts and new pair of shorts and a pair of her new boots

"Fashion icon football style" she said as she jumped out the car
"Well hello Miss confident" I said laughing

We warmed up for around 30 minutes just getting all the basics done, before moving to some shooting practice where Less was helping with her technique and well for me I was the lucky one in goal
"Right Bells, not at my head this time please" I said, this girl had one strong kick
"Whoops" she said, as Alessia burst into laughter
"Bella!" I said and ran towards her
She was laughing and running from me before I eventually caught her and began ticking her
"You are just as bad as Alessia" I said laughing and still tickling her
"St-stop, I di-didn't mean toooo"
"Right come on then", I said picking her up off the floor
"One more time pleaseeee. I promise not to kick it at you" she said grinning up to me
"Fine. Then we have to go we can't be late" I said running back towards the goal
"Okayyy"
"Right Bella, try and shoot with your left foot, top right" I heard Alessia say
"Okay"
Bella smashed it to the top right, there was no way I was getting that even if I tried
"Bella! That was incredible" Alessia said hugging her
"Bells, you are amazing!" I said running over and joining the hug
"Thank you so much for playing with me, I am learning from the best"
"Aww, your welcome Bells, we will always play with you" Alessia said
