MYSTIC FALLS HOSPITAL THE NEXT DAY

"Dr Saltzman are you leaving already?"

"Yes Jade,  I've taken a few days off,  I have friends coming to stay withme.  I have some errands to run before they arrive."  Josie says looking at her colleague.

Jade a Physical Therapy Doctor at the hospital  has curly dirty blonde hair,   she's slim and tall.  Josie knows Jade has a bit of a crush on her and she really doesn't hide it.   But Josie thinks it's very unprofessional at work.  Josie has talked to her about it numerous times but it doesn't seem to stop Jade at all.  Her next move will have to be talking to her boss to hopefully get her transferred to another area of the hospital.  .

"Is it a guy friend coming to stay.?"

Josie knows she's fishing to find out if it's a romantic interest and she also knows Josie is pansexual.  Josie rolls her eyes at the question.

"Never you mind Jade, now get back to work please.  I'll see you in a few days."

"OK Dr Saltzman,  she smiles winks at Josie at walks quickly off.

Josie lets out a frustrated  sigh and walks off as well.  She goes to her locker and pulls out a change of clothes, she can't go to the airport and greet Hope in scrubs,  she chuckles at the thought.  She looks at the time,  only an hour until she goes and picks Hope and Ava up, she can't help but feel the nervous butterflies flying laps in her stomach.

Her mind wanders again and she thinks to herself it's probably bad under the circumstances but she's really excited to see Hope again.  A beaming smile takes over her face and a light blush.  If Josie is being honest to herself she's had a crush on Hope for a number of years,  unbeknownst to Lizzie or Hope.  She hasn't seen her much over-the years but she remembers every interaction they've ever had.  She knows every curve on Hope's slim body, not that she's been looking of course..... and those eyes....  oh those eyes, .  But Josie had to push those feelings aside due to the fact Hope was a married woman. Happily married she had thought.

Josie takes a shower in the communal doctors bathroom and quickly changes. She signs out of the building and jumps in her car making her way to the airport.

Inside the terminal, she looks at her watch again,  she's got half an hour before going to the arrivals part of the airport.  She decides to go to a cafe and have a nice hot coffee..  and she waits.

Ava has let Hope sleep for most of the plane ride,  she looked so peaceful she really didn't want to wake her but when she heard the noise of  the landing gear coming  down  and slightly jolting the airplane Hope woke up with a start.

"Hi sleepyhead"  Ava teasers  "We're just about to land,"

"Wow,already?"  she looks a little disorientated but quickly gets over it.  "I'm sorry Ava,  I should've been awake for you,  we could have watched a movie or something." she says sounding disappointed in herself.

"It's fine mom.  I've been busy reading,  then I had a nap too,  plus we're going to have heaps of time together for a while."

Hope smiles brightly,  she looks at her daughter, nudges her arm and says"Spending time with you means the world to me Ava."

Ava sees her mothers eyes shimmering, tears just about to show,  "It means the world to me too mom,  now get yourself together,  you don't want to look like you've been crying when we meet up with Josie."

Josie is now standing right at the front of arrivals.  She feels butterflies in her stomach and the excitement is growing.  'I have to tone this down for god sake,  she's here to hide from her husband and recuperate not have me like a lovesick puppy all over her!" she chastises herself.
