Damian
There is one thing and one thing only on my mind. Or to be more specific - person.
I can't believe what I am doing, but I am doing it.
And I didn't even run it by Lisa first.
I was driving to his house.
It was around six in the afternoon.
School had been awful, because I was not able to focus on a single thing. The fact that I didn't see him even once after our encounter in my car this morning was not helping my situation as well.
Once I finally pulled into his driveway, panic finally set in.
And when I was ringing his doorbell, I felt like an idiot.
What if he's not even at home?
"Coming! I'm coming!" I heard him exclaiming and something falling. Twice. No, three times.
"Ouch.." Elliot murmured to himself, as he opened the door.
As soon as he saw me his eyes widened so much, it almost looked like it hurt.
I realized that I was just standing there. At his house. At six pm. Not invited.
Yet I still couldn't manage to get a word out of myself.
"Um, hello to you too." He tilted his head to the side a little and gave me a small smile.
His lip went under his teeth, as he was trying to look anywhere else but at me.
I almost groaned at the sight of him being in his sweatpants.
His hair was damp, probably still wet from the shower.
"Yeah, hey." I finally said.
"Did I forget something in your car this morning?" Elliot asked, still not being able to keep eye contact with me.
He was trying to straighten out his hoodie.
"No." I said.
I shook my head and sighed.
"I didn't really think about this, so it's totally okay if you say no or if your parents don't let you, but I just thought maybe we could go somewhere?" I ran through my hair with my fingers while also nervously scratching the back of my neck.
Elliot chuckled.
"Like where?"
"Do you like to eat?" I asked.
Only when I saw him starting to laugh like crazy, I understood what I had just said.
"Oh my.." I grunted.
"Yes, Damian, I quite enjoy eating." He said, still laughing.
A little chuckle escaped from me as well.
"Now why are you acting nervous?" Elliot asked and poked me in my stomach.
Immediately I felt my insides starting to act up.
"Fuck knows." I sighed.
"Anyway, are you free now? I could take you out to eat somewhere." I finally found some words that were actually making sense. Finally.
