"I'd like to take you out to dinner," Philippe said once he had dropped me at my place.
"Philippe, you are a sweet person and I like you. I want to be honest with you, because I don't want to lead you on. I'm not over my ex and I don't know when I will be ready to date again. I only agreed to this date because Selina convinced me. Please don't get me wrong, I don't regret it. I had a nice time with you and I thank you for that, but I can't go on another date with you Philippe. It would be unfair to you. You deserve better than that."
Philippe looked disappointed, but he nodded.
"Thank you for your honesty, I appreciate that Fleur. If you change your mind, give me a call. Here is my number," he said and handed me a small paper.
I smiled and gave him a hug before we parted ways.
[ Neymar's POV ]
"Bro, what the hell are you doing all alone in the kitchen?" Gil frowned.
"Nothing," I said and took a gulp from my Red Bull.
"It doesn't seem like nothing."
I shrugged and ignored it.
"Where is your date?" he asked.
"I don't know," I said absentmindedly.
"Come one tell me what's wrong."
It didn't seem like he was going to drop that topic anytime soon.
I sighed and said, "It's Fleur," while running my fingers through my hair.
"I saw her with her date earlier."
"Mmhm," I mumbled.
"Neymar just tell me what happened," Gil asked and gripped my shoulder.
"She snapped at me for caring."
"She would never snap at you just for that," he frowned.
"She said I show her more care and affection now than during the last weeks of our relationship."
Gil didn't reply and seemed to think about what I had said.
"She spoke the truth," he finally said.
"I know..."
"She had every reason to snap at you."
"Puta, which side are you on?" I groaned.
"The right side," he smirked.
I punched his shoulder, but then I sighed.
"Fleur is a good girl with a good heart Neymar."
"I know that."
"So what's your problem now?"
"She is mad at me," I groaned.
"Then apologize to her idiot," Gil said.
