"I- I need to u- use the b- bathroom" I struggled to say as my throat was closing up. I knew I had an EpiPen in one of the bathroom on this floor. I had hid one in one of the bathrooms on every floor just in case something like this ever happened.
I walked out of the dining room to the bathroom where the EpiPen was as fast as possible.
My throat had started itching. It was on the inside so no matter how much I scratch it, it won't help.
"Fuck, Valencia, what's wrong?" a voice from behind me said. I knew, I should've ignored whoever it was but the voice sounded awfully lot like Domenico.
I turned around, seeing Domenico.
When he saw my state, he came quickly towards me.
"We need to get you to the medical wing" he said, picking me up.
I continued scratching my neck.
"Valencia, keep your eyes open, alright?" he kept saying.
He ran towards the medical wing, yelling something to someone in the progress but never stopping.
We reached a door and he opened it, laying me onto a bed. He then started getting some things and laid them on the table that was beside the bed I was lying on.
"This is gonna make you throw up, alright? So don't be worried" he told me and then injected something in my arm.
Almost instantly, I felt like I was gonna throw up. I turned to the side so my head was off the bed, facing the floor and threw up.
Domenico was quick to get a bag from the cart and held it for me. What a nice gesture.
I stopped puking for a second. It felt like everything had already come up but apparently not.
I began throwing up again. Domenico had gotten a trash can so I was puking into the trash can. He had also gotten a hair tie and put my hair up.
Once I was positive I wasn't going to puke again, I lied down onto the bed, catching my breath.
"Feeling better?" he asked, getting some paper and handing them to me.
I nodded.
He then got a glass of water and helped me drink it.
"Thanks" I said, lying down again.
"So you want to tell me how this happened?" he asked, getting all serious again.
"Not really" I said, making him give me a look.
"Alright, alright. It was the lasagna."
"Well, I know that, but what was it in the lasagna?"
I sighed. "You really expect me to believe you didn't read my files?"
"I did but just all the basic shit like your age, name, where you lived and stuff like that" he explained.
"Oh. Didn't anyone read my medical file?"
"Someone probably did. Which would mean that your allergy wasn't in the file to begin with. You wanna tell me why?"
"I never did a test. I kind of figured out over the time what I was allergic to."
"And why the hell not?" he asked.
I looked down, not knowing what to say. I didn't want to tell him the truth so I had to come up with a story that was believable enough for all of them to believe me.
