"HEY, JAMES!" elsie smiles as she enters the gryffindor common room later that night with her younger sister, bags in hand. james smiles at her, returning the greeting, "do you know where remus is? i have something for him."
james looks around, his face freezing, "uhhhhh... i don't know," he looks at sirius, who just walked down the stairs, "do you know where remus is, sirius?"
"yeah, james. you know he's in the ho—" he looks at elsie and logan standing there, waiting for his answer, "shower! he's at the prefect baths. taking a hot shower."
"okay..." elsie trails off in confusion, "thanks guys, i guess i'll see him tomorrow?"
"yeah, yeah, definitely." james rushed out, "tomorrow is when you will see remus john lupin next."
"will you tell him i was looking for him if you see him?"
sirius looks at james in disbelief, "we will, els, don't worry. it was nice talking to you girls, but we have to go now. come on peter," he drags peter behind him as he exits, peter grabbing james.
"lovely seeing you!" james calls as he's dragged by the pettigrew boy. the boys exit the common room, sirius and peter turning to james in disbelief. "what?"
"what the fuck was that?!" sirius smacks james in the back of the head. "are you crazy?"
"i'm sorry!" james exclaims, "i feel bad lying to elsie. she's super nice and she really cares about remus! and she's one of my best friends."
"well you better get better," peter sighs, "remus definitely doesn't want her to know."
"i know!" james exclaims, he looks out at the sky, noticing the moon rising, "we better hurry, don't want to be late."
