LOADING THE TRAIN usually feels dreadful. saying goodbye to all of your friends. but this year, elsie is exited. she's made plans with her friends and her boyfriend, and she's excited to see her brother and dog again. but more importantly, the night she gets home, tonight, she's going straight to a manchester united match, with her family and remus.

as she sits on the train, head on remus's shoulder, listening to all her friends crammed into a tiny train compartment. taking it all in, elsie whispers to remus, "i love you so much."

blushing, remus looks at his girlfriend with such adoration  and love in his eyes that it's nauseating to any on looker, "i love you so much, els." she giggles as he kisses her on the side of the head.

from their little love bubble they hear a gag. looking away from each other, they see sirius with his fingers in his mouth. "you guys are fucking disgusting. did you know that?"

"i think they're kind of cute," james tells him, "at least they're happy, unlike you."

"wow," sirius looks at his best friend, "i am deeply offended by that."

the rest of the train ride is full of laughter. when they pull up to the station, elsie and remus say their goodbyes to her friends and find logan and elias before making their way to the girls' mother. before they even make it to clare, colin, their now 5 year old brother, runs up to them practically tackling them to the ground.

"ELSIE! LOGIE!" colin shouts, grabbing their legs, "i missed you!"

"we missed you too, colin!" elsie and logan exclaim as they wrap him their little brother in a hug. they break away, colin making elsie hold him as they greet their mother and step-father.

"hi, mom! hi michael!" elsie hugs the two quickly before turning to remus, "you guys remember remus!"

"of course we do," clare rolls her eyes as she grabs the boy, hugging him tightly.

"hi, mrs. wilson," remus smiles, "it's lovely to see you again."

after they finish their greetings, and introductions to elias, who is also going to the match with them, the group makes their way to manchester.

after the match, the family and the boyfriends make their way to a nearby restaurant. colin insists he sits between remus and elsie, holding the both of their hands as they walk. "remus?" colin tugs on the werewolf's arm as they cross the street.

"yes?" remus looks down at his girlfriend's brother.

"do you love elsie?"

"i do," remus smiles softly, making elsie blush, "i love elsie very much."

"i love her, too." colin smiles, "are you gonna marry her?"

remus looks at elsie, then back to colin before crouching down. whispering, he tells the boy, "you can't tell her, but i really want to marry her. would you be okay with that?"

"that's perfect," colin whispers, "i can't wait for you to marry elsie."

elsie looks over at her boys, crouched and whispering outside of the restaurant they're about to enter, crouching down with them, "what are we talking about?"

colin looks up at remus as they stand back up, who mimes a zipper over his mouth, telling colin not to spill his secrets. colin looks at his sister, taking her hand again, "oh, nothing."
