Logan flopped on his bed, tired. It was nearly midnight, 11:30pm. Ashlyn had gotten home a while ago, but she was exhausted so he hadn't tried talking to her.God, this whole situation had him so stressed. Barrons bullying. The phantoms. He just wanted it to stop.
He wanted to be ok.
Logan groaned into his pillow. The clock ticked.

Logan buried his face further in his pillow, trying to get any semblance of comfort before hell. Suddenly, his door was bust open. Logan shot up, startled.
Ashlyn stood at his door, panic in her features. Logan paled.
"Ashlyn? What's wrong—""The phantom." Ashlyn suddenly snapped, voice trembling.
Logan raised an eyebrow. He made his way to Ashlyn hesitantly. "The phantom? Ash what are you—"
"We forgot about the phantom!" Ashlyn said sharply, a lace of panic to her voice.
Logan's eyes widened in realization.
Shit.
"The phantom is still there—!"
12:00AM
Ashlyn groaned as she came too, the world spinning around her as her eyes adjusted. A sharp ringing noise sounded in her ear.
The phantom!
Ashlyn pushed Aiden away, putting her fingers to her lips. "Shhhhh!"
The others nodded, ducking down behind the seats. Ashlyn looked around. Where was—
Logan tapped her foot with his, all curled up in a ball. Ashlyn sighed with relief. Ah. There he was.
Tyler gulped, his voice shaky. "Still here?"Ashlyn nodded.
"W-what should we do?" Taylor asked, not trying to hide the way her voice quivered.
"We could have Logan shoot it through the window?" Aiden suggested, his grin impossibly wide.
Logan tensed. A definite hell no. And Ashlyn wasn't going to force him to shoot if he didn't want to. Not only that but she wasn't certain he was even in the right mind. Not that any of them were anyways. Whatever. They needed the bullets, so it was best to save.
"No. The gun is for emergencies only." Ashlyn said firmly. Logan sent her a small, almost invisible grateful smile.
Tyler scowled. "This is an emergency!" He snapped quietly.
Ashlyn glared at him. "An emergency is one of us about to die or a swarm. We don't have many bullets, so we have to use the weapons we have now to kill it."
Tyler grit his teeth. "Now isn't the time to be playing favorites Ashlyn." He sneered.
Taylor smacked his arm. "Ty! Now's not the time—"
"You say that like you wouldn't do the same thing if the roles were switched, and it was Taylor instead of Logan." Aiden said knowingly.
"You—"
"Everyone shut up!" Ashlyn snapped. She listened.
Fuck, the steps were getting closer.
"Hide under the seats." She ordered.

The Banner Siblings! (Re-Written)
FanficHey! So, I wasn't happy with how my old story was written. It felt sloppy and rushed, and I knew I could do better. So I did. This is a better written version of the Banner Siblings! What if Logan and Ashlyn were sibling? :D
