Minho's POV:

After I took Mark down, the tension in the room finally eased, and we all made our way to the big car that Changbin had started. The atmosphere inside the vehicle was a stark contrast to the heavy silence that had filled the mansion just moments before. Everyone was celebrating, their voices filled with relief and joy now that Mark had been eliminated. But while the others laughed and exchanged stories, Hyunjin and I sat in a bubble of silence, our gazes meeting only briefly before drifting away.

The ride back to the palace felt like it took forever. When we finally arrived, I stepped out of the car and turned to look at Hyunjin, expecting him to follow me like he always did. But he remained in his seat, his face unreadable.

"Hyunjin, come with me," I called out, trying to keep my voice steady.

But he didn't move. Instead, he looked at me with a calmness that I found unsettling. "No, it's over," he said, his voice firm. "I'm going back to the Venom house with the others."

The finality in his tone sent a jolt of panic through me. I took a step closer, my hand reaching out as if I could physically pull him back to me. "Hyunjin, let's talk," I urged, my voice dropping, pleading for him to give me just a little more time.

He shook his head, his eyes hardening with a resolve I hadn't seen in him before. "There's nothing to talk about, Minho. It's over. I'm breaking up with you."

His words were a punch to the gut, each one landing with a force that left me momentarily breathless. I stood there, stunned, as he shut the car door with a finality that echoed in the quiet night. I watched helplessly as the car pulled away, taking Hyunjin with it.

I was left standing alone in front of the palace, the celebrations of victory feeling hollow without him by my side. The words he had spoken played over and over in my mind, each repetition twisting the knife deeper. I had just won a battle, but it felt like I had lost the war—the war for Hyunjin's heart.

Felix's POV:

The day after Mark was taken down, I found myself sitting in my room with Jisung and Hyunjin, trying to focus on some coding I'd been meaning to finish. But let's be real—my attention was nowhere near that laptop. The room, normally a sanctuary for me and Jisung, had become a safe space for Hyunjin too, a place where he could speak freely without the usual tension that hung around him like a storm cloud.

Hyunjin had just finished explaining the tangled mess that was his relationship with Minho—if you could even call it that. According to him, it wasn't serious, just physical, just sex.

I sat cross-legged on my bed, laptop balanced on my knees, but my mind was only half on the screen. Jisung, as usual, was leaning against the wall, twirling a pencil between his fingers. I could see that mischievous look in his eyes—one I'd come to know all too well. And sure enough, he exchanged a glance with me, that wicked grin slowly spreading across his face.

"So, let me get this straight," Jisung said, the corners of his mouth twitching with barely contained glee. "You and Minho aren't really together, like, for real?"

Hyunjin nodded, his frustration evident. "Yeah, that's what he says. To him, it's just... whatever."

Jisung's grin turned downright devious as he looked over at me, and I knew exactly what was coming. "That means I didn't lose the bet! Felix, you know what this means, right?"

I let out a groan, feeling a sense of doom settling in. "Come on, Jisung, I thought we agreed not to bring that up again."

"Oh no, no, no," Jisung said, wagging his finger in the air, enjoying every second of my discomfort. "A bet's a bet. And you know what that means, Felix. Penguin suit. Today. You lost fair and square."
