When Natasha couldn't find Raven in the direction she promised to search in, she had gone in the opposite direction to search for Bucky, to let him know that she had no luck in finding her.

She was about to call Tony to send for more backup and search through the satellites before she stumbled across the two assassins sat side by side on a park bench, with Raven's head rested on Bucky's shoulders.

She let out a small sigh of relief, then smiled slightly at the endearing sight. She was glad the Winter Soldier had someone in his corner.

She watched them for a moment longer, before pulling out her cell phone to inform Tony that they were safe. Although, she wasn't so sure that Tony cared.

"Wait wait wait wait, hold on a second. She's okay right?" Tony suddenly shouted. He was currently gathered in the building's main conference room with the rest of the Avengers.

Tony, Bruce, and Clint had been in a rather heated argument with Steve, Sam, and Fury. Natasha unfortunately had to mediate the conflicts while Wanda sat by her side, gaze downcast as if she'd done something wrong.

Natasha nodded in response to Tony's question. "I saw them together, Central Park bench."

"Then what the fuck are you mad about, Alvin and the Chipmunks?" Tony spat as he referred to Steve, Sam, and Fury.

"I'm pissed, because you endangered a Hydra asset, lost her, and proceeded to put the blame on her! It wasn't her fault that Wanda decided to fuck with her head. Her reaction was completely understandable. I'm fucking furious that you can't see why you were wrong!" Steve shouted at Tony.

"Because I wasn't! She was the one who fucking agreed to the tests. She can't handle it? Too damn bad!"

"She agreed because she felt like she could trust you. Us." Sam piped up. "You broke that trust, Tony. Not us, you. When she ran she probably thought she was going to get punished for hurting Wanda. You didn't read her leaked files, but I did. They punished her for everything she did wrong, Tony! Why wouldn't she run?"

"Wanda's okay thanks to Bruce, in case you were wondering. You three are going to defend a perfect stranger over a member of your own team? We're a team, Steve, you said so yourself." Clint added as he pointed to the three men standing directly opposite him.

"Alright, I'm done! You're acting like children. All of you." Natasha's voice sounded across the room, making the arguments immediately dissipate as she caught their attention. "Steve, they were both in the wrong, alright? Let's not fully take one side about this. Wanda's just a kid, we can't expect her to know any better about an opponent she met less than 72 hours ago." Then, she turned to Tony.

"And you. Will you put your goddamn ego aside for one second and listen to your friends? We all told you to stop them and you did nothing. You were wrong and you know it. Suck it up and stop blaming a girl who has been through hell and back, and who was just trying to please you because, clearly she felt guilty about your parents. Throwing Wanda into the mix like that, Tony, really? You're forty-six years old with no sense of safety or restraint for your juniors."

Tony was dumbfounded. He knew Natasha was right, but this was the first time she's called him out like that. Natasha seemed to have a soft spot for the new kid on the block.

Tony plopped back down onto the office chair behind him, and reclined in his seat. His pride had been hurt by that speech, but reacting badly to it would only prove Natasha right. So he kept his mouth shut.
