"The ministry is still in a state of chaos," Ginny said. "I tried to ask my dad about more details but he wouldn't tell me much. All I found out was that the people who attacked are still unidentified. No one knows for sure why they attacked either."
"Diggory was apparently pushing Fudge to investigate my mother," Draco added. "An auror came to my house asking some questions, but he didn't find anything suspicious. Kingsley Shacklebolt was his name, I think. He said that he knew there was no point in investigating us but he had to do it nonetheless since he minister was asking."
"Do you mind if I speak?" Cedric, being new to the group, asked for permission, and was met with positive responses. "There's still a lot of mayhem at the ministry. The Prophet wouldn't stop writing about this whole case to try and sully ministry's name."
"Yeah I read those articles every morning," Harry said. "This woman who wrote it, Rita Skeeter, she seems like the most easily unlikeable person in the world. And I'm saying that after meeting Voldemort twice."
"Well, we're also not clear about the death eaters, but we do know who were the others," Hermione said.
"There were people other than the death eaters that night?" Ginny asked her.
"Yeah there were," Jason replied. "They're called Volki; a group of werewolves who were created by The Grindelwald Family. In short, they're like me. They can activate their werewolf sides without the full moon, they have increased speed and strength, and they are bloodthirsty. They love to kill humans just for sport. Or food. Sometimes both."
"What?" Ginny asked with a look of shock.
"To put it simply, they are a bunch of fully aware werewolves who work under Nathan and love to kill humans be it to satisfy their stomach or to satisfy their dopamine-inducing hormone," Jason simplified for his friends.
"Sorry, who's Nathan?" Cedric asked.
"The guy whose sperm fertilized with my mom's egg, the result of which was this handsome young man sitting in front of you," Jason said, gesturing to himself.
"Jason doesn't like to take his father's-"
"Oi," Jason said making Hermione stop.
"Sorry," Hermione said before turning back at Cedric. "Jason doesn't like to address his mum's husband as his mum's husband, so he calls the guys by his name."
"Mum's husband?" Cedric asked.
Instead of replying, Hermione showed Cedric a paper with 'Jason doesn't like to address his father as his father because he hates the man,' written on it.
"Oh, got it."
"So you're saying Nathan sent them?" Harry asked Jason.
"I don't think so," Jason replied. "That bastard wouldn't have sent his army just about anywhere. I think they were just around the area when they smelled some humans and came to feed on them."
"The night before was a full moon night," Hermione added. "Maybe they had come there to transform and then the next morning, which was the day of the match, the people started arriving."
"And they just hid there until night to attack us? Why would they wait until night, anyway?" Harry asked her.
"Maybe they wanted to make sure that our guard was down. I mean, there were a lot of wizards, and a lot of aurors. If they just went around causing mayhem at daytime, they would've been caught. Maybe they were waiting till night and wanted to attack us then, but the death eaters ended up attacking earlier, making it easier for the volki to attack others."
